Great helmet. I have about a 58cm head and am usually straddling between medium and small but decided on a small for this TLD helmet. At first I could barely get it on n was a bit worried but once I’d swapped out all the padding and replaced them with the small profile sizer it made it slightly bigger and now fits like a glove. It’s super light on your head and has more than enough ventilation for hot rides. You get loads of pads to full size up or down in specific areas depending on your fit. Also you get a shed load of stickers including a blood donor one which is handy as I know my blood type from regularly giving blood. Also comes with a super nice helmet bag to keep it fresh and scratch free.Ps, really impressed with the magnetic buccal chin strap, easy to ... MoreGreat helmet. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The helmet is crazy light and look great too. I don't even think about it being on my head. It's lighter than some of my older non full face bike helmets. It has great air flow as well. I have been out riding on 90+ degree days in Chicago humidity and have felt fine (even cooled). The only downside to all the openings is the increased wind noise. It's not terrible, but is enough that I can't hear the speakers on my EUC as well as I would like. The quality of the construction is top notch. The chin strap in particular is really smart...easy to clip with gloves on. The helmet was a perfect fit for me with the default pads right out of the box. I'd rather have a tight fit and be safer anyway. I only really notice them if I am riding for longer than 90 minutes or so...and even then not a huge deal. Would definitely buy this again.

I've been blown away at how breathable this helmet is. The large opening in front of the mouth allows heavy breathing to escape easily and the venting up top allows me to use this for days that include a fair amount of climbing. Don't expect a full coverage downhill shell for bike park days, although this will suffice. I primarily grab this for technical short laps and enduro racing (as you are required to wear whatever you bring for the entire ride)

This thing literally saved my life! After an awesome day of shredding at Killington, we were headed for one last lap on Black Magic. Caught the lip just right to get booted… went over the bars and landed right on my head. Went unconscious for a bit and made it out with a bit of a concussion and a broken shoulder blade. Other than that, no other head damage! I’d say that’s a win! Thank you for a great design
This is my 4th Troy Lee helmet and this one does not disappoint. Looks to be very well made and is very comfortable. A lot of early reviews said that the fit and finish weren't great but mine looks to be pretty much perfect. The fitment is great but was a little tight for the first 2 rides. I always find that TL helmets take a little longer than others brands to break in but one they do they're super comfortable. It's extremely light and the breathability and visibility are incredible. I have only one complaint and that is that the little circular rubber cover on the chin strap hinge by my left cheek came unglued and I had to gorilla glue it back into place. A minor issue but one worth noting, especially at this price point. Other than that it would have gotten 5 stars.
The Troy Lee Designs Stage MIPS Bike Helmet is a stylish and safe choice especially for an all purpose helmet. If you need more protection for Enduro or Downhill I might look at a different helmet, but I do like that it features MIPS technology for extra protection, it's lightweight, and has increased ventilation for the hot days. The dial retention system gives me a secure fit, and the Fidlock magnetic buckle makes it easy to use. I got this on sale for under $150 so this was a great bang for buck buy.
Bought this TLD helmet here from EVO & have ridden in it for several days, some warm. Shockingly light & airy feeling on the head & neck and very comfortable-AFTER you set it up with the pads that customize it to your head. Fit guide was dead-on. Plenty cool but some vents right at the forehead (prob not as safe) would make it even more perfect. Medium sized goggles will fit under adjustable visor. Can't find sunglasses storage in the back like some newer designs. But, Luv it!
Ridden several hours in it now. Amazingly light, comfortable (after you set it up with the pads for your head), good airflow and gives a solid sense of downhill protection. Between my full downhill & half shell helmets, it's now my every-ride favorite. Medium goggles store under the adjustable visor. Don't think there are sunglasses holder holes anywhere. But, Luv it!
We found the Troy Lee Designs Stage Full Face Helmet 3 years ago for our then 13 year old son who is a BMX racer. We were looking to upgrade in quality, weight and fit. We thoroughly researched the design and safety and ordered one. My son will never wear another brand or model of helmet. It is so lightweight with incredible air flow, comfort and protection. We once again recently ordered the stage helmet as he is now 16 and needed a size bigger. We highly recommend this helmet. And we have been very pleased with Cambria Bike’s prices and customer service.
**Review: Troy Lee Designs Stage MIPS Helmet**The Troy Lee Designs Stage MIPS helmet is fantastic. It's lightweight, comfortable, and keeps me cool with its excellent ventilation. Adjusting the fit is easy, and the helmet feels durable. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the safety and performance it offers on the trails. Highly recommended for serious mountain bikers.

Since its debut, the Stage helmet redefined mountain bike safety, style, comfort and ventilation. The lightest full-face helmet in its class combines MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), EPP (for slow speed impacts) and EPS (for high-speed impacts) in one sleek package, that sets the standard for mountain bike enduro helmets. A Polylite shell w/fibre reinforcement and Polyacrilite injected chin bar w/EXOskeleton adds strength without sacrificing weight. 11 high-flow air intakes and 14 exhaust ports and large ventilation chin bar openings aid in cooling and comfort in all conditions. The TLD Stage Helmet also includes an X-Static helmet liner that is moisture-wicking, quick-drying and odor-fighting. A Fidlock buckle and lightweight hardware round out the overall package.
