I had never slept on a flight before and had my first flight to Europe coming up, so after reading the reviews and comparing other pillows online, I bought a TRTL. Unfortunately it didnāt arrive to me before I left so I reached out to the company and to my surprise they offered to send a replacement to my destination in Italy! My family and I were traveling to Scotland this past summer from California, and I dreaded the long flight for how uncomfortable it is to try to get any sleep whatsoever. I always end up with a very sore neck and arrive at my destination completely exhausted. After doing lots of research on travel pillows, the TRTL looked innovative and was likely to be the most supportive for my neck. That is exactly how it played out. It was easy to attach to my carry on bag, it readily was put into place, fully supporting my head, and best of all, it could be moved on either side of my head, even under my chin. I arrived in Edinburgh fully rested and looking forward to our vacation. I highly recommend this particular travel pillow!

I regularly travel from the US to India for work and usually fly economy plus and am able to get a window or aisle. In those situations, it's merely an improvement and not a game changer - I'm still a bit stiff when I wake and need to change sides from time to time, and I don't think I'm getting significantly more sleep than I otherwise would, but it's good! My husband and I got these pillows for a long haul flight from the US to Bali. I've read other reviews that it takes a bit of maneuvering the first time to have the pillow placed correctly for max comfort - i definitely agree with others. It took some getting used to but once you get the placement right it's a great travel pillow. On our first flight of 12 hours, I was able to sleep about 5-6 hours with this pillow, which I considered a win. The pillow presents a lot more support than your standard travel pillow and keeps you head from falling side to side. The pillow packs well and is machine washable which is nice. All in all, I would recommend this pillow for those looking to maximize sleep time on long haul economy flights.

This is the first travel pillow that has worked for me. I can put it on and be asleep in minutes. Now I don't sleep with my mouth open or wake up with a crick in my neck! I've seen complaints about it being hot and I can see where they are coming from, but I usually don't have issues with overheating and it didn't bother me. If you easily overheat, you should consider paying more for the version that addresses that issue. It is a little uncomfortable to use with earbuds, but not a deal-breaker for me.

I recently flew from Halifax to Vancouver, then on to Sydney, and on to New Zealand. Lots of flying. I have the basic version of the Trtl Pillow and it worked almost perfectly. The only hiccup was that it interfered with my earphones when I positioned the pillow to my left or right so I positioned the pillow directly behind my neck an d it worked fine, though not as I originally intended. The earphones I use are the larger, over the ear type and it helps to keep them on to buffer the ambient noise. I'll definitely be bringing the pillow with me on all my longer flights.
