Too expensive for a candle??? NO!!! This is the best candle ever. It’s worth every single penny that I spent. The natural scent that’s perfect for those can’t resist the strong scent. Also, this candle does not have the uncomfortable after smell likes other candle that I have used. The luxury look is a plug that could use to decorate my house! MUST TRY.

An old world scent

After trialing Ernesto with Trudon’s wax melts, I made the decision to invest in the candle. This scent is old world, deep and complex. It immediately reminds me of walking the streets in European cities where church incense floats on the air and tobacco trails through open windows.The candle packaging is simple but functional and the candle is a solid, robust size with a long burning duration. Champagne experience on a beer budget!

I purchased a mini cire trudon candle which has a warming slightly sweet and spicy fragrance and it's lovely but the real WOW factor was the way this purchase was packaged. I received a medium sized box and found inside a personalised thank you card which was such a fantastic personal touch! The package was scented with Saskia by Grandiflora which is gorgeous and not only did I receive the four perfume samples I requested but I also was gifted a pouch full of other various samples AND a cire trudon wax cameo!! I felt so spoilt and my two friends whom I told about my experience went straight to the website to browse as they wanted to receive the same treatment! Cire Trudon Ernesto Candle 270 g

Superb quality as always by Cire Trudon - this is an expensive but hand-crafted, high quality product. Ernesto is a smoky, woody aroma with a hint of citrus. I would only choose Ernesto for someone I know already likes it or enjoys statement fragrances. A real luxury for someone special who is discerning and will appreciate it as it is expensive. The glass vessel can be reused as it’s also lovely.Smooth ordering and delivery from Myer.

Great candle, description does it justice

This is all based off the candle's cold throw, i have not lit it yet*. This is a beautiful candle. The description is pretty accurate (though smells can be subjective), and i find it to be very peculiar. I bought the candle blind and i have no regrets! I'm also very grateful that there were so many samples included in my order, i'm a sucker for all different kinds of beautiful smells, so thank you Libertine for the variety!(I've selected moderate diffusion and burn time to description but i have not lit the candle yet, i couldn't leave these out)*

Intoxicatingly delicious.

This candle is a regular in our home. The mix of bergamot and oak moss give it and 0ld World charm.It reminds me of sneaking into a Gentleman's Club, and smelling that heady mixture of patchouli and amber. Total decadence. Totally Parisian.

My forever candle

I am a candle addict. But if I could only have 1 candle for the rest of my life, this would be it. The scent is captivating, sexy, unique. Friends of ours loved it so much in our home that they immediately bought one for their home, too! You could burn Ernesto any time of the year, but my preference is in the evenings and/or when it gets cold outside. It's such a gorgeous candle in every way possible!

Ne plus ultra

Realistically, once you’ve come to terms with spending more than $100 on a candle, you’re not going to make a poor choice: everything at that level is good. Maybe there’s something you like in particular, sure, but overall you’re not going to miss at this level. But Ernesto is something else. The bouquet is amazing, of course - but it’s more than that. No other candle has the same power, both in terms of throw, but more importantly in terms of emotion. Say you have a friend who thinks you must be mad to buy a $130 candle - get them Ernesto as a gift and they will understand. That’s how powerful Ernesto is.

Powdery, Rose spice

Trying a few of the Cire Trudon candles to find my favourite florals .Although I do not like spice, Oud or Oriental perfumes as a perfume scent , I don’t mind them in a candle for my home .This is a well made mixture of powdery Iris , Rose and Spices .I got the sample size but won’t buy a full size candle as I have a few more to try but that’s only because I would like it to be a touch more floral . Just my taste and not taking away from the quality and craftsmanship of Cire Trudon.As usual , Libertine have provided outstanding service and presentation . Every purchase experience is an exciting , pleasure journey .
