The battleship Bismarck is a German battleship that was famous in the Second World War. With a full load displacement of more than 50,000 tons, it was the largest battleship in the world at that time. The Bismarck was a symbol of the Nazi German navy at that time. It was nicknamed "Unsinkable Maritime Fortress", but it was sunk after performing its first combat mission. In the battle of the Danish Strait, the Bismarck sank the battlecruiser Hood, known as the pride of the British Royal Navy, less than ten minutes after the battle began. However, a torpedo fired by a swordfish torpedo bomber that took off from the aircraft carrier Royal Ark hit the Bismarck, causing the Bismarck's rudder to be stuck and unable to control the normal navigation direction. The next morning, the Bismarck was finally surrounded by the British fleet. After nearly two hours of violent attacks, the Bismarck finally sank in the Atlantic Ocean.
