The BTR-60 was the first in a long and successful family of Soviet eight-wheeled amphibious armoured personnel carriers. Introduced in the early 1960s, the BTR-60PB variant was a major improvement over its predecessors, featuring a fully enclosed armoured roof and a conical machine gun turret. This configuration became an iconic and ubiquitous symbol of Soviet and Warsaw Pact mechanised infantry forces for decades. This 1/35 scale kit from Trumpeter is a highly detailed replica of the classic BTR-60PB. With an impressive part count of over 570 pieces, this complex model features a complete and fully detailed interior, including the driver's station, the main troop compartment, and the engine bay. The kit also includes two photo-etched frets for fine details, hollow rubber tyres, and multi-slide moulded hull parts for maximum accuracy.
