Beautifully made and very sharp. The reviews compared favourably to a Zeiss Planar 50mm at nearly 10x the price. And I concur.Excellent for studio portraits and candid work. The manual focus slows you down but in a good way.

Great manual focus lens, I had no option to leave the rating for autofocus out, that is why it’s one star for that.
For the price range this is really good lens. Sure it's a bit slow to use since no electronics, but that is not always a negative thing. I really do like it and it goes well with Fuji X-T3
The lens is very well built and it's heavy (all that lovely glass) . It's a manual focus lens but the focus is smooth and with focus peeking on my Fuji it's spot on. Not a lot more to say, except I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this lens. There are many decent reviews of this lens on YouTube, go there before you make your mind up.
This is a really well made lens, very solid. However, I've aquired the TT Artisan lens hood and jettisoned the screw in lens cap for a conventional clip in.Focusing is problematic however, I had a terrible time with focus peaking (too sensitive) on my Fujifilm XT10. Stick to digital split screen or do it old school. I wear specs and did okay.....eventually. Beware infinity, the marking is off and it focuses in front of the mark..There's a learning curve with this lens, but it does render some nice images. Well worth the money in my view.
Built like a tank, beautifully smooth stepped aperture, and focus throw is buttery. As for image quality, it's stupidly good at this price, with genuinely lovely bokeh wide open.
I have been using this lens now for over a month on my R6 and I absolutely love the look of this lens. Keeping in mind that it is a manual lens you have to have focus peaking on, but man does it do a great job. Paired with a variable ND it has really kept that beautiful Boca in our videos. I highly recommend this lens for anyone who is trying to have an affordable budget option at their fingertips.
