I bought this bag for a future trip to Europe, but ended up using it for Maui. It’s great for daytime tours, etc. I brought a nice black YSL for nighttime! There are so many pockets and separate areas, it’s perfect for travel!

I love this bag! Very cute print (swallowtail) and a great size. It’s bigger than I expected, based on previous reviews. I have a few smaller travel bags, but this one is nice and roomy for what I need. It has several handy pockets for sunglasses and keys, and a nice zip front pocket large enough for a phone. If you need room for a tablet get a backpack. But for most things a girl needs to schlep around, this bag is great. Qreat Tumi quality too.

I agree with the comment from AFlower. I wish the Tyler crossbody was a few inches larger so that I could carry my Ipad mini, my journal, wallet, and perhaps a travel guide, and still have a little room left over. But I kept it anyway and will make do. I bought the Tumi charm pouch as well in order to give myself a little more space for incidentals. (The swallowtail print looks cute on the gunmetal bag.) It would also be nice if it had some subtle security features like Traveleon zippers to make it more difficult for a pickpocket to unzip the main compartment in a crowd. I guess I will forever be in search of the perfect travel crossbody that is both utilitarian and attractive.
Great purse and I love the wide strap because it’s comfortable on my shoulder. I also love all the compartments to better organize my items in my purse. I would buy this purse again, but in a different color. My birthday is coming in March I think this would be a great present.
I recently purchased a Tumi Tyler crossbody bag and was initially concerned because it was slightly smaller than my previous Tumi bag that I loved and used on many international trips. I found that the new bag is well organized and very functional for travel. All my essential things fit in the bag and it feels lighter in weight than my old bag. I especially like the outer vertical zip pockets which provide easy access to my cell phone, tickets , hotel key, etc. It's easy to clean, has a comfortable, adjustable strap and is very stylish. I took it on two trips and found it to be a great travel purse.
The most awesome bage ever. The long strap is perfect for me since I’m tall and can adjust it to my height n length. The color black is perfect for any occasion. It has lots of zippers and pockets. It’s the perfect bag to take on vacation
I love the fact that this bag is a small bag that can hold many basic items. I am 5'3" and finding a small nylon bag for everyday use that doesn't overwhelm my frame is a challenge. There are soooo many other choices out there if you wish to carry your laptop. Very few choices for a quality bag with this small+ capacity. Perfection. Not too big and not too small for everyday use. Love it!
I too replaced a prior bag with the Tyler whicjh is smaller. I was desperate. Request the Tyler in a larger size. I read another review which requested it be made larger too.
I have a Tumi crossbody bag from many years ago, which I love. Thought to replace it with the Tyler Crossbody. Although the quality is the same, the capacity is not close. The Tyler is too small to be functional for everyday use. The original bag is approximately 14-inches high by 9 to 10- inches wide. Perfect. I hope Tumi makes the Tyler bag in a larger size. I have read this same request on other sites:
