I bought this because of the USB input that would give me access to the turtle Beach sound editing software. I have an atlas elite that I use it for. I work from home and I really needed to ensure that the background noise of my two children was not heard. There are times that they wake up before I go on break and when they don't see Mommy they can really scream. Well this headset with the Atlas edge adapter as well as a white noise machine has made it so that I have a job. Case in point get it if you want to keep your work at home job. Go on YouTube They have a video tutorial on how to use the software.

Product worked great until just after the warranty ran out. Then they snapped. Putting them on, plastic bracket taht holds the metal onm just exploded. Shards going everywhere, and even in my ear. Turtle Beach customer service is no help. They just want me to buy another headset from them. Quick google check, they ALL do this. Dont waste your money unless you want to buy headsets all the time.

Getting this Headset for the price of the cheapest one on their website is pretty nice. It feels nice like the other one, but also has awesome noise cancellation. My one problem with this headset, is the mic. It's not a bad mic, far from it. The problem lies with it being too far from my mouth. So, it doesn't pick up my voice very well because it's too short. If it could extend a little farther or even have the adjustable cord would be spectacular.
I have had this headset for about 8 months now, and I think this headset is fantastic. The drivers are accurate and well balanced. The only issue with this headset is the microphone/cables. The microphone picks up everything in my headset when I have it set to a higher volume, even when i have the microphone switch set to mute. The cables inside aren't shielded very well. I have literally recorded the microphone input while i am listening to music with the mic muted and unmuted. I get a decent amount of input no matter what. It is at the point where my friends are annoyed with my microphone because it echos back even at low volume. I have to either turn it down and not hear the game very well, or turn it up and annoy everybody with an echo. Make sure it is fully seated (it’s not as easy as it is on cheap headsets), it has a real good hold on the cable. After I did that sound came in just fine.Now for the mic. The mic has a notch/guide that has to line up, so be careful of that. The mic also has to be pushed down a little more than usual to lock in. To adjust the mic position use both of your hands, do not adjust while gaming or you will strip out that notch/guide. Hold the mic at the base and use your other hand to bend the mic, it stays in place well if you do it this way. The Mic is pretty sensitive, I have a deep and loud voice so yeah, keep that in mind. Make sure your audio levels are adjusted correctly or you are going to sound distorted/overpowered, I almost blew my kids ear when I started Discord because I had it turned up due to a previous set of cheap headsets, so he says, kids exaggerate.These are the bad things that I saw on reviews around various sites and I saw how some of these things could be problems. The stripped-out mic did not happen to me, but I saw someone give it a negative review because of that and that is the only conclusion I came to based on the way the mic is designed. I do not rough handle my headphones at all and I store them securely. I think this was the shortest lived headphones I have ever had.I had insurance on these headphones, but apparently the insurance did not cover this type of break under the insurance I purchased at the the time I got these headphones. Keep in mind this was the ONLY insurance offered at the time. Best Buy updated the policy to cover these types of breaks a few months after I had purchased the headphones. They would not allow me to upgrade my insurance to the new one or anything.
