The sound quality is nice, both for the headphones and the microphone. The microphone is abysmally quiet and requires a good 10-20 dB boost, but I knew this before making the purchase. What I didn't know, was just how uncomfortable this headset would be. My old headset was a Logitech G432, and it was extremely comfortable, never caused any pain around my ears or on top of my head. That headset is poorly made durability wise however, so I bought one of these to see how it fares. I can't even wear this headset for 10 minutes before the top of my head starts to hurt. The padding up there is just woefully inadequate. Maybe if the entire headset was lighter, it wouldn't need additional padding, but as it is: ouch.

After using this headset pretty frequently for the past month, I can say that they are the best headset I have ever used. I usually have problems with headsets giving me a headache after a short time, but these don't squeeze my glasses to my head and I have no headaches while using them. The color is very accurate and very nice in person. Sound quality is great. Mic quality is great. I really love the flip back feature for the mic so I don't have to worry about accidently being unmuted. The headset came with a stand which I wasn't expecting but am thrilled about. Shipping time was extremely fast (literally next day shipping). Overall I would highly recommend!

Worked well for the brief period I had them - very good at noise reduction and great for music/gaming, although friends commented on hearing what I was listening to every so often, usually when I had volume up a bit loud. Mic quality was better than average. Had them for about 5 months and they were always very snug; 3 days ago the right earpiece cracked and snapped off, completely separate from the rest of the headset. I have a very large head, so I think it was probably struggling to contain my mass. If you have a normal-sized head, then give them a shot because they worked well while I had them, but make sure to treat them with care. If you have a larger-sized head like me, try looking elsewhere!
They keep breaking. The colors are so cute, exactly what I've been looking for. The sound and mic are fine, although there was a noticeable decrease in quality of both after just a few months. My biggest issue is that the ear cups keep breaking off. The plastic connecting the ear cups to the top head band is paper thin, to the extent that the ear cups just tear off. Not crack, not break, but *tear*. That's how thin the plastic is. I've had a replacement sent to me a only month after I bought them (directly through Turtle Beach, not BB), and the replacement broke too. Really wanted to love these.
Summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It is awful quality and it breaks in a short period of time even after trying to fix. Now, I am not stating that those reviews are incorrect but I do believe that they reviewed them within a few month period. I say this because after a couple of months the plastic connecting the comfortable ear muffs to the head piece began to tear, I glued it back together and all was fine but then after the tinniest drop of the headphones they broke again. My father tried to fix them numerous timed with screws, and glue but after a few times the plastic was so weak that even just getting it on would break it. It worked pretty well for a couple months, and I handled it with a lot of care, as I knew that it was a relatively cheap headset. The sound quality was pretty decent, and it is a really comfortable headset. One day I went to use it, and I couldn’t help but notice a small tear. Now this isn’t to big of a deal, but it was annoying to look at. Around a month later, I accidentally dropped the headset about a foot down, and since the mic is stuck sitting out and is solid plastic, it broke off. I literally just taped it back on and it still works alright, but it is the most annoying thing ever because it will just break right off again when the tape gets ... If you are planning on getting this headset, then just know that you pay for what you get. I will never buy from Turtle Beach again, and will probably move on to HyperX or Steelseries next.

The one tiny thing I noticed is when listening to music on the Xbox spotify map, and sometimes youtube, the audio is doubled. It is very, very subtle, but at least for me my mind can draw attention to it easily. I have never once heard this in video games, so it's definitely not a problem with gaming, and it's possible I just have some weird audio settings that make it this way, because I did mess with them a little bit before getting this headset. The cord length is great, not too long that it gets easily tangled or annoying, but not too short! Would highly recommend!
Excellent - we purchased this headset refurbished. I have purchased so many headsets for my kids over the years with Xbox and PC gaming and this headset was amazing. Funny that it was refurbished and it was the very first one we’ve had that has not caused us problems or broken down prematurely. I think we may be going the refurbished route from here on out. Excellent headset I recommend fully!
so far so good really enjoying just the seperation of sounds be it from a game and a call to a movie and a game i can hear both sources clearly with almost no audible overlapping, makes multi tasking or date night on discord a comfortable and easy experience. not only that ive been using some old corsair headphones for years now and the cups were good for the time. but the soft grip comfort for those ear cups on the recon spark are some of the nicer secure feeling material ive had on my ears for an extended amount of time. not to mention the ability to wear glasses under the headset without drastically ruining the performance is really a sexy touch.
