I have tried so many different brands of car cleaning protectent products over the years. I have an old school Acura Integra and 21 Ford Explorer that i like to take extra good care of. Turtle wax is one of the few brands that i trust no matter what! This stuff works exactly as you hope it will, plus some! Reasonably priced and worth the investmant!

Perfect for frequent waterless car washing, great detailer. This is safe imho for waterless car washing up to medium diesel dust and thin road film. Walmart pricing is great around 5 clams. Works well over Ice Spray Wax (improved formula) and doesn’t get in the way of another coat of Ice ( no stacking problems). I treat Ice Spray Wax as my base coat, topper, and detailer. Clean & Shine as my car wash (waterless). Ice is slicker though, C&S takes some of that away but hey less slick with no dirt beats slick buried under dirt.

I initially had trouble using this on a dirty car (heavy dust on hood, roof, - trunk, light dust and film on vertical panels) - I had to use a lot for safety on the really dusty panels, and as a result it was hard to buff out haze and swirls (one way initial light wipe to lift off dirt, then a light spritz of Clean & Shine, then rubbing in with a second microfiber, finally wipe dry with a third, clean/dry microfiber - if you are just detailing, skip the middle step, if your car is very dusty, all 3 steps for safety). So I'm not sure if Clean & Shine is ideal for waterless car washing, even if it is safe due to a thicker concentration of product than in some competitors (such as the much more expensive CG).On the other hand this morning I used Clean & Shine on a ... I'm a big believer in Turtle Wax after my experiences on 3 vehicles with those two products, but let's face it, Clean & Shine is priced lower than Exterior 1 at just $4.99 for 26 ounces full list price at Walmart. There's not a better bargain out there, so naturally I'm cautious. That being said, I'm tired of paying $9.99 for a 16oz bottle of waterless car wash from a boutique company, and wildly impressed by the Ice lineup from Turtle Wax. So I'm more than willing to experiment to see if Clean & Shine can be used for my way-too-frequent waterless car washes/panel touch-ups.Turtle Wax says two very interesting things here in the Q&A: Clean & Shine can be used as a clay lube, and Clean & Shine can go over Ice - it won't strip it. If it can be used as a clay lube, it probably lubricates and encapsulates safely, making it ok for waterless car washing (although getting excess product off afterwards might be more of a chore than, say, with Exterior 1 or Ice Detailer).Like the Ice lineup, it won't turn to a nasty white haze on trim, so it's a lot safer to use.I'll report back after I finish the bottle, although I'm busy experimenting with so many products it will be a while. Initially I was disappointed with Clean & Shine, but the second try was a LOT more satisfactory. If there's anything I'm learning, it's that every spray product has it's own quirks in terms of how much to use, sun or shade, how much buffing is required. However, after years of being stuck on liquid and paste products, I'm totally sold on the new generations of spray products, they are totally authentic, not like the decades ago products you threw into your car wash bucket in hopes of a no-work shine. The new spray products aren't "no" work but they are darn near close, and produce spectacular results. (OK, Clean & Shine just got the car clean and back to the shine it already had, but if it can do so cheaply then I want more, because now that I've solved the "waxing" side of the equation, I need to solve the "keep it clean" side as well.)

This is the perfect solution for a waterless wash. I was blown away by the ease of application and the results. Before using this product I had a lot of road salt caked on. It came off with a simple spray and wipe. I then followed that up with another clean towel to maximize the shine. I think my entire truck took about 1 hour for my first application. I was most impressed with how this product cleaned the windows without any streaks or cloudiness. I previously used several products to clean the exterior. I found this one product cleans everything with the same great results. There seems to be some protectant as well because the truck is much easier to get clean after applying this.
I have used clean and shine for several years. It’s amazing. I’m really fussy about how my Chrysler Pacifica minivan looks. Using this product it always looks great with not much effort. Easy to apply so I don’t mind doing it whenever van needs to be spruced up. Beats car wash and a whole lot cheaper.
I’ve uses this product for years now. Cleans all exterior, windows, plastic trim and of course paint, leaving a nice shine. Easy to use compared to quick detailers you have to buff out. I quickly spray an area at a time and wipe off. Streakless compared to other waterless cleaners.
This o.k. if you like buying many different cleaners ; one for exteriors, one for tires, one to prep tires, interior is the same. TW had a great product ICE detailer for exterior, interior, tires and wheels, dash & doors, all rubber and what it did for glass was amazing ( I used on the windows on my house) it smell good and if for some reason you didn't wipe it off it did create a mess. All in ONE bottle. A lot of people liked it. They should bring it back more profit selling g 5 products that one really good one. Its a shame.
Really shines like it says it would! My family has been using turtle wax since I was a young girl. And it’s easy now with the spray bottle instead to the wax and polishing. Just spray and viola! I added a pic to show you how it shines. Happy with this. And I don’t have to scrub so hard. I also got the scratch remover paste (not available here on Target unfortunately). Best to use after car is dry after car wash. But I used it with dust and dirt on, because I was in a rush and the car looked so disgusting. It doesn’t streak too.
True story. I Used to get a cloth from my uncle John who had a ‘77 Orange TransAm and wax his car for fun with Turtle Wax. I was 9 years old and couldn’t wait to wipe that “White Haze” off to reveal that wet look. Now at 52 with a ‘91 300zx, my Daughter is always asking “ where’s the Clean and Shine? This product is Golden!!!
I purchased this from Turtle wax.com on 10/29/22 ORDER #29002 Invoice Number: 82522and received the old look bottle. The date on my bottle is 23/9/21 so it's already over a year old. Shelf life? I would think since buying it from Turtle wax directly you would receive the newest manufactured product. Turtle wax should not promote the new look bottle until they actually start sending the new look bottle
