I can't even explain how awesome this computer stand is. It is simple, out of the way and great quality. What I like about it is the grips on the ends and it holds the computer very well. Since it is so simple and not bulky, it fits perfectly on my desk and not in the way which is my favorite thing about it! The quality of it is great and very worth the money!! 5 stars for me, maybe not for you

My stand had none of the QA issues some reviewers have shown. Paint, glue and edges were perfect. The rubber holds the laptop securely from sliding, and is at the perfect angle and height for me. But there is no latching mechanism to hold the laptop to the stand, nor to the desk top. I probably would look for these features if I had kids or big dogs around. I'm really puzzled by the use of "for MacBook" in the description. Maybe Twelve South thinks only Apple users can afford this pricey stand. Just measure your laptop width and see if it overlaps the stand horizontally. Just ignore the occasional moans emitted from the stand if you place a windows laptop on it.

Does what it says on the box

Having bought a shiny new Mac Book Pro, I decided that I needed a stand of similar stature. I originally purchased the 'Highrise' by 'Twelve South'. The Highrise was a big mistake as it only uses a little bit of a rubber gripper to stop the laptop from sliding off. As the day progressed, the laptop would start to creep down the stand in an attempt to throw itself onto the desk like an electrical bungee jumper using the power cable as the only restraint. I gave up trying to fix the slipping problem and bought this stand. Now all my laptop stand problems have gone away. Great buy five stars.

Does what it should

Does the job: brings the laptop to the same height as the external monitor, reduces chance of laptop overheating, and looks pretty nice. For my use-case of a private and professional laptop in use, the design allows to place the MacBook Pro below the PC notebook and vice-versa. It would be nice if the metal stand at the bottom was coated a bit (on the "lower floor" as well as "lower floor ceiling"), in fact similar to the coating where you place the laptop in use, such that you would not run the risk of scratching your currently unused laptop when you place it below the other one (or take it out, hence the wish for "ceiling coating").

Good stand for 16" MacBook Pro

Bottom Line: The Twelve South - Curve Stand elevates a 16" MacBook Pro to desktop height. Pros: sturdy design; light weight; color looks good with space gray MacBook Cons: not great for storage underneath Review: The Twelve South - Curve Stand is a great compliment to the 16" MacBook Pro, and it really helps transform the machine into a desktop experience. The stand raises the MBP screen to around the same height as a 24" monitor, which is great for video calls. I like that this stand is lighter than the last one I owned, and it's sturdy design looks good on the desk. The only negative is that there's fairly low clearance from the front underneath and the shape of the base makes it just ok for storing your keyboard.

Great laptop stand.

Excellent stand, very sturdy. Even when resting my hands on the keyboard, it barely flexes. Looks good on my desk and truly holds my laptop up at the perfect height. I even like to set my keyboard for my desktop up on the stand, it feels more ergonomic to use. Very glad I bought this stand. It’s worth the price.

Perfect

The best laptop stand. It holds my laptop perfectly. My laptop is MSI VECTOR GP66 / 15.6’ Although it not folded, it is not that bulky when I’m carrying it. I use many GPU softwares and render a lot. It cools off my laptop while running these softwares.

This is the perfect Macbook stand

This stand is great for viewing while on stand, and terrific for placing while hooked up to dual monitors. Also great airflow, study construction and perfect fit. The only negative thing I would say is that it was hella pricey, but hey, I will never have to buy another one since it's build so well, so there's that.

sharp looking and well made

Found this originally on another site, but found a better price at Office Depot. Made of classy-looking, sturdy metal, with rubber pads where needed, this laptop stand is both functional and beautiful. It also gets my laptop screen up higher next to my desktop display when it works better as a secondary display, and clears space on my desktop. I'll take it with me when I travel, along with my external keyboard, for an optimal work-away-from-home-office setup.
