Twilly D'Hermes Eau Ginger Eau De Parfum Spray 30ml

Twilly d'Hermes did something very unusual to me…It genuinely surprised me. It is a truly original scent, and it doesn’t remind me of anything else. Very joyful, playful and yet at the same time warm and sensual. I don’t typically like straight up flowery fragrances, but I love flowery notes when they’re properly balanced with something else, like ginger in this case. From the very first spritz you get a ginger blast. It only lasts for a little bit, but definitely makes the fragrance very zesty. It mellows out into more pronounced cedar notes, and you begin smelling more and more of peony. And I feel like just because this fragrance has so much going on, so many beautiful notes in the back end, I never get tired of it. The longevity of this perfume is really good, too.

Lovely and more complex than I expected. I smell fresh laundry hanging on the line on a bright spring day when the buds are just starting to open, fresh green floral air but not overly pollinated. I tend not to like florals or perfumes that lean towards that "generic perfume" fragrance, but this one walks that line so delicately and is so fresh that I find it really charming. I don't see a scenario where this would be unpleasant, because it's just as much a laundry day spent in pajamas scent as it is a wedding day scent to me. It's elegant but fun, like a barefoot, carefree princess running through a dewy field getting the hem of her dress dirty. Bright with a touch of sweetness

I decided to try this fragrance because of the mix of florals with Cedar and Ginger notes. I enjoy floral scents, but I typically like my fragrances to have some earthy notes to keep them from being too sweet. This fragrance really impressed me with the mix of notes! I was initially a little worried that the ginger would be too strong, but it instead adds a touch of freshness to the scent. It's not an imposing scent for those around you, but anyone who catches it will think you smell wonderful!

I agree with a few other reviewers that this smells entirely different (read: so much better) than the original Twilly. The bottom line is that Twilly eau Ginger predominantly smells like fresh laundry--it's dryer sheets, soap, starch, and detergent. But having said that, I really, truly like that laundry smell. Unfortunately, even though the name and description claim that this has ginger, that never came through for me. The scent is fairly intense and very quick to connect with the skin (unlike fragrances that seem to have a long dry-down), with good staying power. On me, the top notes never faded or evolved--the bright, clean, chemical-fresh notes remained and didn't budge. A few hours later, the scent of laundry was still right there. Elegant day time perfume

Clean, fresh scent. I would say it’s luxury soapy type! which perfectly fine for me. I got compliments how good I smell.Unlike the original Twilly, this one is more youthful and playful..it’s a happy perfume!! . Some how it reminds me of Versace yellow diamond. Perfect and safe choice for day time and work. I would love to use it from time to time but not worth it to pay and commit for a large bottle unless the brand luxury name would make it more charming especially as a present!

Ok, this is probably the most complex fragrance I have. It has so many layers to it. The ginger is very strong upon the initial spray. At this point I was ready to send it back. After a few minutes the scent morphed into something so soft and intoxicating. I couldn't stop smelling my arm where I'd spritzed it. It is a mesmerizing, beautiful scent. I normallygravitate towards fruity scents, but this has won me over. I deducted one star for longevity. I had to reapply after a couple of hours.

The Ginger stays fresh long after the dry down.

How this manages to smell of a Moscow Mule cocktail and expensive, fresh hotel laundry all at once is amazing! This is one of those fragrances that is going to evoke different things to different people. The ginger is sharpe and dominant, there is a light floral peony, then a very subtle woody scent. This is perfect for someone who wants a light, feminine perfume that is neither mature, nor girly. Truly timeless. And the most important thing? The ginger somehow never goes stale, but is long lasting, then gracefully fades away.

Uniquely Amazing

I was super excited to try this Hermes Twilly Ginger Eau De Parfum. Super cute packaging and adorable and unique bottle were noticed right away. On initial spray it does seem quite strong however given a minute or two it tones down to a beautiful scent. I absolutely loved it. With hints of peony and candied ginger that comes thru predominantly its a beautiful, bold and woodsy, earthy scent as there is a slight undertone of cedar that to me compliments the ginger scents lovely. Very earthy vibes with this. I feel amazing wearing this scent and really enjoyed it. My only slight negative here is it will need to spritzed a couple times throughout the day as it didn't last all day for me. Very clean, unique and unexpectedly beautiful

I went into the store to buy a purse-size TF Oud Wood & came out with a small bottle of this instead! I typically stay away from flowery (or fruity) scents; but this one is exceptionally nice. Will be buying big bottle. Very difficult to articulate the smell, however it’s fresh, light (but w/ enough POW to stimulate sciences) and just a hint of ginger mixed with unique florals. For women that like unique, sophisticated scents, give this a try. It’s a sexy one.
