Great, mild black tea. Love the taste, it's not overpowering or bitter like other black teas can get - especially if you end up steeping it for awhile longer than intended. It smells great and looks nice and pure. I've brewed a few cups so far and can't complain. My first impression is not the initial taste on the tip of my tongue as first expected, but the powerful, almost peppery taste at the back of my throat as I sip this one down. On the second sipping, more on the tip of my tongue this time, the tea's more subtle qualities come through: the mellow side of the lemon and ginger combination--then wham again with the peppery snap at the back of my throat. For now, a slight bit of sugar seemed to compliment the flavors nicely, even bringing them out more. This is a strong flavored herbal, not a mellow one as I've come to expect a lot of herbals to be. Drink with caution if you like your herbals on the softer side. This one's courting the wilder side of the tea experience.

Darjeeling tea is my ultimate favorite black tea and I used to drink a lot of it. Fast forward, and years later I’m back drinking black teas and looked for Twining’s Darjeeling loose tea tins, however I could only find teabags. It’s still a very flavorful tea, but I prefer even deeper, richer Darjeeling. Perhaps maybe because it’s not in loose tea in a tin? I’m not sure. I would still choose to drink this black tea than any other brands. Twining’s teas are still great. Bring back the loose Darjeeling tea tins!

The original Darjeeling tea has a subtle sweetness to it. This one has a bitter flavour. The quality is not so good. I drink it in the morning for breakfast.But I would not buy it again, nor do I recommend it to anyone else. Quick delivery and good service.

Twinings makes great teas and tea blends! Some have caffeine and some do not. Darjeeling is low caffeine and has a classic english tea flavor. One bag can brew two cups. Nice package size, many people like the taste and use these teas daily. These are made with the best quality ingredients. The packaging protects and benefits the vital flavor.
