Got this and immediately put it in use. I was able to straighten my hair in no time. The only thing I suggest is definitely have a heat resistant glove on because the one included is not. But the unit heats up fairly quickly so if you needed to use it fairly quick it would be ready. Definitely lay on a towel or silicone mat to cool because the back side definitely gets hot also. The two claps you receive work well at holding your hair away from the area you are doing. The mini detangler brush fits easily in the palm of your hand. Well worth the price

I have really thick hair (4c). This product WORKS! I wasn't expecting to achieve the results that I did. I blow dried my hair out first and then I used the Tymo ring. My blow dryer gets my roots straight enough for my liking so I wasn't concerned if the this straighter would get my roots laid or not, but to my surprise it did. My hair is soft and has a nice shine, it was easy to use and it took me roughly 45 minutes to straighten all my hair.

I’m extremely happy with it. Usually other brand makes my hair still frizzy or it because frizzy easily afterwards. But with TYMO my hair is straight, silky and doesn’t feel dry. The only part I miss is the volume of my hair. But I’ll get used to use products for volume more. And the best part it takes 5-10 min to make my hair and I have thick, bleached, dry frizzy 2B 2C hair.

I saw this product on YouTube being used on curly hair &daw what great results the people were getting & most importantly it gets right to the roots. Its just like brushing your hair SO easy & super shiny results. DEFINITELY recommend. The only drawback is the flex isnt very long & being an American tool you need a plug adapter but most people have them on f you go abroad for holidays.
I never ever ever leave reviews. But I thought people have to know. They just have to. This is by far the best heat tool i ever used to straighten my hair. I have curly frizzy hair that now gets straight in half the time I used to use a regular flat iron. Not just that, the quality of this device is excellent, I was raving non stop about it to my friends and family. BUY IT NOW.
This is a great too that fills a niche for those of use who are scared to use a flat iron. Like most tools, it suits some hair types better than others. It won’t work for super thin hair as there has to be enough to fill the comb. And, while, it will work fine for thick, coarse hair, it will take forever to complete your look. It is perfect for my hair (fine and thin). It has a learning curve and I have yet to master it, but it is easy and fun to practice. It turns air dried mops into sleek sophistication in just a few minutes.
Kudos TYMO! I am a black woman with must be, three or four different textures of my natural hair. TYMO has given me an all over straightening, that feels very good- of course I use an oil heat protector before I begin . I have naturally curly hair so straighten it several times a week.Have used GHD for years but wanted something with lower heat setting. Thought ths would be good as I am too uncoordinated to do the combing while straightening method like they do at the hairdressers that get your hair so straight and silky. It works. I let my hair dry naturally, use a heat spray, then use the tymo in sections from back of my hair to front. So soft and silky and straight. Easy to use. My son also uses it on his curly hair easily as its just like brushing your hair slowly. Saves me heaps of time.Wake up next morning and brush through with it. Good to go again.
This is by far the best straightening comb I have ever own in my life. It’s lightweight and extremely hot. This straighter will definitely be my everyday go to from this day forward. I bought one for myself use over a year ago and I love it! Decided to get 3 more as Xmas gift. This pink one looks adorable.It’s super easy to operate, it comes with a heat resistant glove which is very thoughtful but I actually never need to use it and I have not had burn my hand at all. I don’t think I’ll go back to my flat iron anymore.
