After using these for the week I have noticed alot of things that make this product stand out from their competitors. Have used the pads from this brand before, and can definitely notice the improvements in the new design. In comparison to the old design, the new pads are definitely thinner and don't shift/move or bulk up as much throughout the day. They absorb quickly and stays feeling dry. I would forget that I'm even wearing them because they were so comfortable - maybe a bit too comfortable since I ended up overflowing one time because they were so unnoticeable.The trade-off is that they seem to hold slightly less liquid than the old design, but that's only a con if you're as forgetful as I am. Definitely worth the trade for the extra comfort.

Do they do the job? Yes.Are they as good as comfortable brands? No.Are they as price effective as other brands? Also no.U by Kotex pads definitely do what they say they'll do but I do not find them as comfortable as other brands. They are thin but also almost solid feeling, meaning they don't shape to your body as you need them to.This teamed with the fact that they are more expensive than other brands makes them not the sanitary product for me.To add to this, when there are now so many reusable products out there, I don't see a space where I want to use these a pads again.
I have been using the U by Kotex brand for many a year. I loved Super Ultra Thins for they flexibility, comfort and fell when wearing them. The absorption and feel makes it comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time. I’m not a massive fan of large bulky feeling when you wear a Super pad. Knowing I had covered for a heavy flow with the feeling of a Ultra thin was amazing.The only thing I personal found I needed to be addressed is the wrapping needs something to help stick it back together when you roll up a soiled pad for disposal.All up I will using this product now instead of the other Super pads.

I'm left feeling wet and have overflowed as it is not being drawn into the pad like the design before.Not sure if I got a dodgy batch but this all white top layer does nothing to capture and hold my flow.This new Comfort layer is not for women like me with moderate/heavy flow and better suited for lighter flow.Please go back to the previous absorbency and top layer core design with the blue ... MoreU by Kotex is my brand. I find the packaging is very classy, modest and compact which is useful for storing space. The pads themselves are in cute bright coloured packaging to make it easy to find in your handbag. The comfort of these pads is great, they don't feel bulky or too cheap even though they are super size. The absorbtion is good, and helps to feel more dry then wet which helps during the heavy stage of a period.. I think these pads are a great product for females during their menstruation if they have a heavy period and don't want to wear huge pads that feel like diapers. The wings help keep the pad in place to avoid leaking.

I used to use these U by Kotex ultrathin pads with wings, before I switched to their Kotex ultrathin pads without wings. I like that they are thin and discreet to wear during the day. The cons and reason for me switching to pads without wings is due to the uncomfortable friction I seem to experience since the wings don't stick down properly and end up bunching up at the edges of my underwear! It gets very uncomfortable to wear when bunched up. The other issue on the other hand, when it does stick down properly without bunching, I then experience difficulty removing the sticky backing off my underwear. Can't seem to win which is why I'll stick to no wings.
