I bought this for my home networking, and it has been a bit overkill as I only used half the number of ports (including one SFP+ port via DAC cable to my UDM SE). But wow, I love how neat it is to connect from my patch panel to the switch ports in a single row.A few of my devices are 2.5 GbE capable, and so the half set of 2.5 GbE ports have proven very useful. Likewise, I haven't had to worry about PoE vs PoE+ when connecting devices that are powered by PoE/PoE+.The switch has reported its temperature as being just over 60 °C on warmer days as we approach summer, but admittedly the fan has also started working a little harder, but still quiet when the door of my rack enclosure is shut.

This Ubiquiti switch provides a variety of options of POE support along with 2.5Gb and 10Gb switching options.The single row of port placement makes for tidier cable management.There are fans inside and can be heard in a very quiet environment but not loud enough to be of any concern in a typical home/office room.Layer-3 routing looks to be very limited implementation and will require improvement from Ubiquiti.Overall a worthwhile inclusion for a new start small network or an upgrade to replace a smaller switching capacity.Have been running this for the past few weeks.

After weeks of trying to grab the Enterprise 24 port switch from the UI store B&H had it in stock and for a discounted price. Ordered and got to me in 2 days. Awesome service and price.
Easy to integrate into the Cloud Key 2 management platform. Switch works great and was quick to setup.
I have a few ubiquiti switches and this is my first enterprise one. I do like the form factor of the ports spread across the switch, enables neater cabling. It has more features than I even currently need but wanted to future proof myself.
I bought this switch for the fact that it is a little faster on my network. I am still learning a lot about IT but I know that this switch works great and keeps my network at home runnning smoothly. Great switch!
This is one of the best PoE switches on the market. I've had one in service for about a year and a half, and it's very solid. Pair it with other Unifi devices for best results. I'm really not a bot, this switch is outstanding. I'm awaiting more stock to order one more.
