Ubiquiti LBE-5AC-GEN2 LiteBeam 5GHz AC Gen2
The LiteBeam AC is an ultra-lightweight airMAX ac CPE device with incredible range and disruptive pricing. It directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth and with the focus in one direction, the LiteBeam 5AC Gen 2 blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

These devices work excellently, just as described. They have been very effective for me, and I highly recommend them. One important note is that they need to be visually connected to each other; otherwise, they won't link up. I learned this through my own experience, so keep that in mind. Good deal 40 pack half retail price!!

These are being used in outback Australia near St Geroge. The main house has Starlink and the station hand cottage is 750 metres away. The thoughput between the dishes is 605 Mbps and there is no degredation of internet speed between the cottage compared to the main house.Easy to setup and the cottage has a basic Asus router distributing the internet between a number of devices. Speeds in the cottage are sufficent to handle 3 devices streaming HD content. So for less than the price of a new Starlink setup (and no ongoing monthly fees), we are able to share the one Starlink service between two houses on the property - 750 metres apart.Money well spent!

These are such a fool-proof, simple way to wirelessly connect two points. I use them, either on both ends of PtP, or on the receiving end of PtMP connections without issues. Super reliable.
As with anything Ubiquiti (except the AirFiber line) here is my observation. Inexpensive. Setup a 1/4 mile PtP link with clear line of sight, excellent fresnel zone clearance, and a low noise floor. Latest firmware as of this review. Link dropped after some time after the initial turn-up and did not return automatically. Both units needed rebooted for the link to return. Expertly configured, grounded, non-DFS channels, etc. Yes, I did it all perfectly and correctly, been doing backhauls for a very long time. The firmware is buggy as usual. Enabled watchdog as a preventative measure, if the problem persists I will just do scheduled reboots as I do with all Ubiquiti equipment (except AirFiber line).
Purchased a pair of these antennas to expand my network from the house to a detached garage. I configured the IP addresses and SSID before mounting them and they connected right away. Installation was easy enough. I used 1.25 inch PVC pipe to run the cable through and clamp the antennas on. Network latency is great and I was able to repurpose an old router as a WAP and switch for my garage. Well worth the cost considering they both had PoE adapters included.
It's shocking that such an amazing piece of equipment is so affordable! I got a pair of these to create a p2p link between two buildings that are roughly 1000' apart. From what I read, these devices will span a much greater distance so my application should be no problem. I am not disappointed so far. The p2p connection is rock solid with a max capacity of 340Mbps in both directions. So far has worked great inn weather conditions.Fair warning - documentation for basic p2p setup is nearly non-existant. They do say that it should only be installed by a qualified technician so the average layman would have trouble setting this up.
