I wanted this to power my Ubiquiti Edgerouter X and Aircube AC. Freeing up a power point and reducing cable mess. At 24Watts it is perfectly adequate to power both devices without issue. Its small and not intrusive. Speed isnt reduced on the network at all as this provide a Gigabit connection and the device actually provide surge protection to connected equipment. Another great device by Ubiquiti.

I bought this to power an ER-X via passive PoE. It’s not compatible because it provides 24v on all 4 pairs of leads in E-net cable rather than 2 of 4 pairs which is the usual configuration. Ubiquiti doesn’t publish this info except in a footnote in the ER-X installation guide. It would cost at least 1/3 - 1/2 the price of the adapter in shipping to return it. Thanks for nothin’, Ubiquiti.

Low quality adapters. One maked a boom in my hand after connect to AC.
Current B&H description is misleading. This injector will not power U6-LR or U6-Pro or U6-Lite, which are probably the three most popular Ubiquiti offerings at the moment. You need a 48 volt injector to power these units.
Adapter for the UAP-AC-LITE-5 UniFi Access Point Enterprise Wi-Fi System (5 pack) that doesn't come with them. If you purchase the Access Point individually, it comes with the POE (.5A) and these are 1A, which also works with this unit.
We ordered this through Ubiquiti itself and it did not work for our Access Point. In turn we ordered this product and it worked perfect! Very happy with the product and pricing.
As expected, this works perfectly. I needed it to provide POE for a Ubiquiti outdoor switch. Good value, good service and fast delivery from Scan. If you need a single POE injector would recommend this and Scan as a supplier
