The Switch Enterprise 48 PoE (USW Enterprise 48 PoE) is a fully managed switch with 48x 2.5GbE, 802.3at PoE+ RJ45 ports, 4x 10G SFP+ ports and a 720W PoE total power supply. In addition to its Layer 3 functionality, this switch offers a comprehensive suite of Layer 2 switching protocols, including port-specific operating modes (switching, mirroring or aggregate). The USW Enterprise 48 PoE also features a 1.3-inch LCM colour touch screen that clearly displays important system and connection information. In addition, the USW Enterprise 48 PoE provides advanced protection against power failures when connected to the SmartPower Redundant Power System (USP RPS, sold separately). This switch can be monitored and configured from anywhere using the powerful, intuitive UniFi Network web app and mobile app. With Power over Ethernet, you can power compatible devices over the network cable. Especially for end devices such as wireless access points, IP phones and IP cameras, this reduces the amount of cabling required while giving you flexibility in where you place the end devices. The IEEE 802.3at standard provides a maximum of 25.4 watts of power on each PoE+ port with a voltage of up to 50 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 21.90 watts of usable power may remain or be consumed in order not to exceed the maximum power output. For PoE+, a Cat5e/6 cable with a maximum length of 100m is recommended.
