Since installing this device have had amazing wifi at the other end of our house, and it hasn't dropped the connection once yet.. Very happy with this purchase. Only comment would be nice to have a little more flexibility for configuration in the app, but it does what I need it to do, so happy to give it 5 stars.

Perfect for a home. Absolutely bathes the house in WiFi, minimum 3/5 throughout - even in the remote areas (e.g. garage). Super easy to set up, even without a Unifi console, using the mobile app. For the best experience, though, I highly recommend picking up a Raspberry Pi 4 to run the Unifi Controller, which allows you to manage your WiFi network, set up multiple networks and more through one easy interface.

Good improvement over ac lite in terms of range. Doesn't come with poe injector and the increase in price makes it hard recommend. Along with the removal of features in the controller and buggy/incomplete features on the UDM/UDM Pro, avoid the eco system if you haven't committed yet. Needs a lot more work and ubiquiti doesn't seem to be interested in addressing.

Works well. Good range. Setup was a bit confusing. Phone app could not locate the device by bluetooth. Had to add it manually using barcode. Also the device is standalone which can be managed through phone app i.e., it can't be managed though your Unifi account. By default, the app was trying to discover devices that can be added to your account which was confusing.
This is a great WAP. Ordered it to fill a hole in my home wireless network, and it's certainly done that. Like any Unifi gear, it was easy to install and adopt into my existing setup. No further configuration was required because it's using the same setup as my other WAP's (which are AC Pro units). One extra benefit with this unit of course, is that it's WIFI6, so any supporting hardware such as a modern mobile phone will sport a nice little "6" label on the wifi icon. Speed tests show that this is definitely able to transfer at very high speed, and even at the extreme edge of reception (120m line of sight), speeds are still surprisingly quick. With a client capacity of 300, it's highly recommended at this price point for home and small business.
Overall, this is a relatively powerful yet compact Access Point. The only strange behavior was that when I first connected the Access Point to a Unifi POE switch, the switch rebooted. This happened only once, the rest has been a stable and satisfying experience.
Got some to replace older version. Super easy to setup. Scorptec website could mention that they require a more powerful POE injector. Wifi speed went from around 25Mb to 100Mb. Better range too. I replaced 3 of the old AP's with just 2 of the new ones. They are slightly smaller in diameter. I still love the UFO shape. Very elegant on the ceiling, not square and blocky like aome others. Super happy with this product.
AP works as expected and has been reliable. Had to purchase a power adaptor I wanted to use a USW-Lite-8-PoE but they have been out of stock for many months with no indication (as of end-Sept ‘22) when they will be available.
Not my first Ubiquiti Access Point and definitely not my last ! This brand is the hardcore gamer of Wi-Fi Access Point ! It works ! It works quickly ! It works hardly ! You connect it with powered ethernet cable or just with a PoE injector, open your Unifi Network management tool : adopt the new AP automatically discovered and that's it ! It works ! If you have another AP, you can connect it wirelessly to another AP to extend your Wi-Fi coverage without LAN connection. It supports massive connections, all the last Wi-Fi technologies (like MI-MO, Wi-Fi Peer-to-Peer, etc.) perfect for remote working and IoT. The absolute replacement for crappy Wi-Fi box delivered by internet providers. A must have for home and office.
Unifi is plug in & play, if you have the controlling box that is. This unit is a solid metal casing, so IMHO built to last. Downside over all is, the unit support is limted. The item will become 'obsolete' eventually. Great if it can be recycled and not landfill content.
