The UniFi UAP-nanoHD is equipped with the Wave 2 standard and can reach speeds of up to 1733 Mbps on 5GHz and 300 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. The nanoHDs are an awesome access point for a large home or small office, allowing good coverage and roaming. Being a wave 2 decide we noticed a modest performance improvement over our previously deployed AC PROs.

Fantastic throughput, though unless you have a PoE+ compatible switch - you will need to use the included high-output PoE adaptor (it sucks a lot of power, I had stability issues on a standard 802.3af Cisco 3560 until I changed over to the plugpack).

Easy to set up AP and install Ubiquiti controller on PC. Coverage in average sized house seems good. However, having difficulty accessing controller through iPad app! Will keep trying. Service from LinITX great ... and also good price for AP.

Excellent product part of an ecosystem that allows you to really hit the ground running and deploy something that is extremely sophisticated in very simple steps. Make sure that you're either hooking this up to a POE switch OR that you have a POE injector (purchased separately).

Fantastic product that really increased the Wifi Range and speed inside my home. The setup took less than 5 minutes and was so easy.
Setup with the mobile app works, you just don't know why. There is no configuration possible with the mobile app, just the name of the network, user and password. The management software is utterly useless, it won't even install on Mac's without tricks because of missing vendor certificate. Once installed, it won't work unless you build some type of management platform that requires other networking hardware. The AP itself works flawlessly, with speeds as advertised. Unless you connect many of these AP's to one giant network, I'd recommend to choose a simpler product for home use. This one here is more for commercial applications.
These have been bullet proof, work flawlessly with my ubiquiti switch and secure gateway.
