This kettle is almost perfect for my mother who has arthritis and macular degeneration. It's lightweight, easy to fill, and the tipper is brilliant. The only reason thing that stops it from being perfect, is that it's not easy for a visually impaired person to judge where the cup is relative to where the water will come out once the kettle is tipped. But with some practice, it's working well.

Easy to fill but when the kettle is a bit less than half full it does not pour very well and I have had to tip the whole appliance. Can' use it to pour boiling/boiled water into a jug. If the whole unit was a bit taller it would be better. It squeaks loudly when pouring and I haven't been able to stop this so it's a bit annoying.

Excellent design from pouring point of view but very difficult to fill using a water filter. Ok from a tap but even then difficult as I have shaky hands.I wonder how long it will last as made of plastic and doesn’t seem very durable.

purpose-built kettle, small in content, but takes up a lot of space for use, the impracticality is that you have to use small cups. Use should be easy for everyone and especially for disabled persons... but when leaning and pouring hot drinks, the height and shape of the mugs used is also decisive, otherwise it is impractical, especially for people with limited mobility.

I am very pleased with my purchase.This is my second kettle,which lasted near on 10 years. I think the element would have went on longer, but one of the seams at the side of the kettle wasn’t looking very clever so decided to purchase a new one direct from Uccello.I filled in the guarantee (I never received a guarantee form with the first kettle) And pointed out to Uccello this fact.I certainly recommend this kettle for the disabled.Unfortunately I do not have the technology to provide a photograph. I can get my son if you insist on photographic evidence.

My mum loves it. It is very light as well as easy to pour and is much easier than her old kettle to us. The old kettle was hard to carry when full.The kettle hold 1.7 litres which only a little less than the old kettle and is impressive how light it is with so much water in.One small negative. It is not a quick boil kettle and does take a while; however, this is not what you are looking for in this item.

I bought this for my Mum who suffers with osteo arthritis and bad balance due to her dementia. We're doing all we can to let her maintain a high level of independence and having great tools like this kettle help us in that goal. For months she's had to wait for me to make all of her tea and coffee but now she can safely operate and pour this by herself. It has plenty of capacity for several mugs full and is so light and smooth to tip without having any heavy lifting but it also has a very stable base so no chance of knocking it over. Boils quickly and quietly. It's been a real godsend. Mum has been delightedly telling all the family and friends who visit all about having her own kettle. Worth every penny.

Brilliant. I have been struggling to lift an ordinary kettle even with just a little water in it but a friend recommended the Uccello & it is just that. Brilliant.

This is just fabulous! It has made using a kettle, making hot drinks etc. so much easier. I have M.E and arthritic hands and heavy weight kettle holding was becoming stressful and difficult. The Ucello in only a couple of days has already eased the strain, highly recommended!

I love this kettle and it has helped me to independently make a drink for myself. I love the tipping mechanism too. Brilliant product. Thankyou .
