Ugears Pickup Lumberjack Truck

Absolutely outstanding hib in this truck!! I've done a lot of models from a bunch if companies who make these models and ugears is always the best. Having said that this lumberjack is no exception. One of, if not my favorite, models. Fun to put ogether and Absolutely gorgeous when it's done.I wish I could afford to buy another one.

Looks good however it's very delicate. Have had a lot of trouble keeping it together.

This puzzle was really fun! It's hard to tell from the pictures, but there's an incredible amount of detail in this one, and that makes it a lot of fun to work with. It's a challenge, and can't be done quickly, and for me that means hours of enjoyment. When complete, it works as advertised - the gears shift easily, and very impressive to see it work. Besides that, it makes a great display on the shelf. Note: Some pieces pull apart too easily, so a drop of glue works wonders to keep it together. Also, pay particular attention to the orientation of the pieces.

I've built two different Marble Runs, the Hexapod, the Automaton Cyclist and the Dream Cabriolet by UGears. This Pickup Lumberjack model was another fun model to build. It was a challenge getting the motor spring into place correctly. I found a YouTube video from another builder that helped a lot. This model has many more spare parts than others I've built, but fortunately I didn't break any parts so the extras were not needed. I'm always somewhat amused by the estimated time UGears projects for model completion. This one states assembly time of 8 hours, but I spent 15 hours, carefully sanding and waxing parts as needed. I built a model Jeep from another company and the instructions and quality of the wood pieces in UGears models are 100 times better. Excellent quality. I like the "hard" or "advanced" level kits as they provide hours of enjoyment to build. Good job UGears!

When I got it all together I was kind of disappointed that it would not move as I thought it would. The instructions say 15 half turns if I turn it more than 6 half turns it or something locks up and won't move. I enjoyed putting it together inspite of the spring

WORKED FINE FOR A SHORT WHILE BUT DID NOT SURVIVE LITTLE MAN'S STRESS TEST. WILL HAVE TO GET ANOTHER ONE.

Look's good

A very nice vehicle and it works great, but I had to use glue to hold a few parts together. They were very loose.
