Bought last weekend and took it out for a test after getting Back to wind some braided line on (great service and I learned a thing or two in the process about how to wind line on - free advice is always great!). This is a fantastic combo - I got it on sale for $99 for 6.6” 3-5KG and it’s worth every cent. Extremely smooth effortless cast, very well balanced and seems very good quality. Very happy with this for the price! It’s better than an older and more expensive combo I still have!

I bought this rod a week ago. Went fishing on Friday night and after 2 hours of use I could hear an issue with the reel, about 30 minutes later I hooked a fish and the reel jammed rendering it unusable.The only positive is that BCF swapped it out no questions asked.

Very easy to handle, basically every thing said in the promo video is what drew my attention. One of the best combos I’ve used by far, wasn’t expecting the wooden trim added to the heel, but extra length helps me out especially having long arms I can get good leverage when I pull and reel.
My first Ugly Stik for 30 years and they still have the same quality due to their unique construction. A really nice looking rod - in fact so good looking that I bought an extra Ugly Stik for my wife combined with a mid priced Shimano reel. Yet to test out the combo but my only concern at this stage is that the supplied reel may be underpowered. Should this be the case I'll replace with an ever reliable Shimano reel.

Good rod and reel, well balanced and easy to use. Has good strength aswell a quality rod and reel for the price. The price was so reasonable that bought 2 of each. The sales assistant at Braybook even wound the line on for me. He was very helpful.
Nice reel, good rotational balance. 2 piece rod that is split 50/50 unlike the lesser thought out designs, nothing worse than bundling your rods toghether and youve got your tip sticking out to get broke off because the lengths are uneven ):

What I liked about the purchase was the fact that I purchased it one day and I had the product two days later I love the product reel is well balanced to the rod and I can't wait to use it over the next couple of days. I have looked over their site and it has quiet a few items that interest me so I will be back to purchase more.
