I was a little hesitant purchasing this considering there were a few reviews stating that it didn't work for them with Android Auto, and the sole reason for purchasing this cable was to use in my car for Android Auto. Just received it today and I just tested it and so far it works perfect with my Samsung S22+ in my car (2022 Kia). Also with the 90 degree it allows me to close the cover in the spot specifically where I'm supposed to place my phone so now it'll be secure. If I have any durability issues or disconnect issues I'll update this later.

Quality and slim design makes this small, thin and attractive cable almost become invisible in my car. Had purchased a cable with an "L" end to plug into the bottom of my phone to mount on my dash. Too thick, wide and looked terrible, I kept on searching and found this product. Amazing how small it is compared to my first cable! Highly recommended.

I am using this to connect my Samsung Note 10+ to the Kenwood head unit in my F150. Phone is mounted with a ProClip mount allowing it to swivel. The only issue I had with this was connecting it to the phone when it was in its OtterBox Defender case. The distance from the angle offset to the "bottom" of the USB connector isn't quite long enough to reach. The solution is to either remove a bit of the case with a knife, or replace the case. With the Note line, modifying the case isn't a good idea, as there is only one plastic connection between the front and back of the case between the USB C outlet and the S-Pen. I ended up solving the problem by replacing the OtterBox with a case that was slightly thinner in this area. (The OtterBox had taken just a couple of drops ... My Subaru Outback has two USB Jacks right above an area to place your phone. However with regular cables it's a tight fit getting it in there behind the transmission lever. This 18 inch cable with right angle adapters on both ends is an absolute perfect fit for running Android auto on my vehicle. It seems that most cables are 3 ft long and it is way too long. my Samsung S9 has an OtterBox Symmetry case on it and all connections work perfectly.. it seems to be a very quality product, however that will only be determined over the course of time. If you're Jack's and storage areas permit it, and you're running any kind of Android auto or apple carplay, you need this Cable in your vehicle!
The cable appears to be well made and looks good. This cable has the USB-A with a right-angle too, which caused issues for me, since it did not fit into the USB slot in my car. The USB-A right-angle prevented me from even inserting this cable.I ordered another version of the UGREEN USB cable that had a straight USB-A connector and a right-angle USB-C connector, which is what I should have ordered in the first place. The issue with that cable was that it did not work with Android Auto. The cable worked for 1-2 seconds and then Android Auto disconnected and the car interface hung. Tried it multiple times with no luck. Since both cables are identical other than the right angle USB-A, I'm pretty sure this cable will not work with Android Auto either. The OEM cable ... When I got my latest cell phone, the charging port is USB-C. So of course none of my old micro-USB charging cables fit, and I probably had 20 of them. I bought a couple of the new USB-C cables, but the cost was getting ridiculous. Aha moment: Maybe there are adapters! I looked online for micro-USB-to-USB-C, and here you are! Inexpensive and perfect. They have some that are straight, and some that are L-shaped, which I find best if I'm using the phone while sitting or lying down, and the bottom of the phone is leaning on something. The straight cables/adapters are fine in the car or just on a table or desk.
I've seen a lot of cables similar to this one, on Amazon, that look jank af. This feels very high quality, and the 1.5 feet is a very good distance for plugging a battery, strapped to your quest 2 strap, into your Quest 2. I use a velcro strap to secure the excess cable, of which there isn't much. The connectors on both endds feel very solid, and the braided cable also feels like it is superior quality. Compared to the other cables I've seen on Amazon, this is a very good combination of quality and price. I paid about $8 usd for it.
I've used more than ten cables and some are very finicky, others too long or too short, or they start failing after a couple of months. So far this cable is the best I've found, it's the perfect length, flexible enough with compact and angled ends and so far it looks very sturdy. Time will tell if it's durable but if it breaks somewhat soon I'll be back to update this review.I would only suggest the company to create two variations of this cable: one with two USB-C ends and another with longer but coiled cable. Both could be very useful for similar uses, but so far this is definitely the best cable I've tried for this!Edit: I'm back to report that even though I still love the cable design and material it seems that Android Auto is occasionally crashing since I ... It also takes a couple more seconds to initially connect sometimes, this usually didn't happen with my previous cable before it stopped working. I'll continue trying to use it but I'm a little sad that this may not be the perfect cable for my use case if it can't keep a reliable connection.
