I bought two Wonderboom 3, mainly so I can link two of them for Stereo. As the Wonderboom 3 won't connect to Wonderboom 2 or Wonderboom 1. A Wonderboom 2 however can connect with a Wonderboom 1. I bought this mainly I could listen to podcasts and news from my phone while working in the garage without needing earbuds. From that standpoint it works great, since the volume is much higher than my phone. It's base-y, good for music but actually makes some voices a hair garbled sounding sometimes.It's ok for music. It seems to have good sound quality to my untrained ear. You're just limited that all the music is emanating from the same location.It does float as advertised. Battery life is good. Overall it's exactly what I was looking for.

Good things come in small packages and this is no exception. Small enough to fit almost anywhere and with good fidelity. Lots of bottom end to compliment the highs and mod range.I mainly use it as a shower speaker. Easy to pair, works well with my TV. Turn it on and it automatically switches.You can also buy another one and it can mate and produce a stereo effect.High quality sound in a small package!
I've been a huge fan of Wonderboom speakers for years, having used the first version for five years. When my dad needed a portable speaker, I knew exactly which brand to recommend. The Wonderboom is perfect for both of us, especially since we often go on trips together and wanted to pair our speakers.While I discovered that the newest version no longer supports the Double Up feature with older models, I discovered Wonderboom 3 still did. I also appreciate the modifications made to the strap, which make it even more convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it.

On the bottom of the speaker there is a button to enable an Outdoor Boost mode. From my experience, this makes it sound like the audio was given a small boost and vocals in music sound slightly clearer. Another neat feature is the ability to add a second WonderBoom 3 and play audio from both, simultaneously.While this speaker is relatively loud for its size, I found the audio quality lacking in some aspects. Mids and highs were a tinge on the tinny side and slightly muffled. Lows were decent and more pronounced as compared to the higher frequencies. If you were looking to adjust the EQ levels, you would have to do it from the device you're playing audio from, as the WonderBoom doesn't offer any EQ adjustment settings. While audio lacks the details mentioned above, altogether the audio sounds good and is what you would expect from a small speaker.Additional hardware downsides I found include no aux support and the fact it still uses Micro USB versus the new USB C standard.Overall, I enjoyed using the WonderBoom 3 and recommend it to anyone looking for a compact speaker that can get loud and also can withstand the outdoor elements.

Even at 8hrs, it’s still a solid battery life in my books.The bad stuff is there is no app support and for some unknown reason, I don’t get a battery reading on my iPhone as I do with other speakers. The worst offender has to be the micro USB charging port. Being a 3rd generation product, at this point USB C charging port is expected, along with some quick charge capabilities. UE for your next version I highly recommend including those 2 recommendations.If it wasn’t for the lack of USC C charging along with a quick charge feature the Wonderboom 3 could have easily been a 5 out of 5. Even with the small quirk I still highly recommend the Wonderboom 3 for those looking for a small portable speaker.

It is loud enough, that while writing this review, I had to drop the volume down a good deal, as the output was painful to the ear from such a close distance. This little fella will make itself known in a big room, though I don't know if it can overpower 15-20 people in vigorous conversation.I plan to buy another to put in another corner of the living room, since these speakers apparently can pair, though without stereo effect.If you are simply looking for a loud little speaker, which really sounds pretty good, you have to give the WONDERBOOM a try. It may not have BOSE sound quality, nor the ability to pair for stereo sound, but for the price of ONE of the cheapest BOSE speakers, you can buy TWO of these. Compare them side by side (the Best Buy folks will be happy to help--take THAT Amazon), and then, make your choice. It could perform longer and better, and pair for stereo--I don't know. I suggest you ask if those are qualities which are deal breakers.

The first one was a thank you gift from all of our work orders from Grainger. I wanted a second speaker and got one that I trust. I can pair them together and use them simultaneously.
