This by far for me is the worst UV sunscreen product. Like the other UV sunscreen the beginning texture of this sunscreen is lovely. The intial texture is creamy and soft. The intail application is soft and lightweight. However, as the suncreen starts to absorb and dry down; it is then things start to turn bad. The suncreen felt very drying and taut on my skin, that it felt very comfortable. The drying down left my complexion with chalky white caste appreance. My conclealer did not blend well at all on top of this sunscreen; the conclear just started to clump up when blending. Overall this is not a good product.

Amazing formula, but has white cast.

Positives: The formula is one of my favourites so far. Fragrance-free, lightweight and matte finish which is perfect for my sensitive and combination skin.Negatives: It leaves a white cast on my medium/tan skin. The recommended amount for application on the face is 5 pumps, but any more than just 2 pumps leaves a visible white cast on my face which won't go away no matter how much I rub it in.Applying it in layers helps but it still does not take away the white cast at the end. But since I love the formula so much, I mix/layer QueenScreen with it which helps for the most part, even though it messes with the matte finish since QueenScreen has a glowy finish. I will continue to use it like this but it's too early to say if I would purchase it again. This skinscreen ... MorePositives: The formula is one of my favourites so far. It's just another case of "No one is perfect!".Pictured: I rubbed in 2 pumps of CleanScreen on the back of my palm, the white cast did not disappear even after I continued rubbing it up onto my hand.

This is my second review, as I’m back for my second order!I love my skincare, but I’m now using Clean Screen as my morning moisturiser, sunscreen, primer, everything. I guess I’m using it like a BB cream. It works well under mineral foundation, but to be honest, I’ve done away with most of my makeup now that my skin is looking better! It doesn’t leave a completely matte finish if that’s what you’re after, however I have found it is much more consistent throughout the day. My skin starts off a bit dewy and tends to stay that way. Usually I would just get continually greasier throughout the day, but not with this! It seems to stop my skin producing excessive oil, probably because it is slightly moisturising. Best face sunscreen

I had a generous trial size of this and have just bought the full size. I’ve tried so many facial sun screens over the years that have claimed to be light or weightless and so often that’s not the case, particularly if you use enough to provide good protection. This one is genuinely weightless and sinks in to the skin without feeling greasy or sticky at all. I’m aware of most sun creams on my face all day and can’t wait to wash them off in the evening but I completely forget I’m wearing this. I went on holiday with temperatures up to 38 and I didn’t burn at all. This goes well under makeup and the makeup doesn’t slide. There’s a slight tint to it which is enough to avoid any white cast but not enough to look too dark. The only thing I would say is that I got a little in my eye one time and it did sting and water for a long time, so I’d fully recommend keeping away from eyes. My teenage daughter who normally gets breakouts after wearing sunscreen tried this and her skin didn’t break out at all. It’s hydrating enough for my mature skin too so a very versatile and excellent product.

Favourite of the bunch!
30 August 2022

I’ve tried a few of Vi’s screens to find a fav and this one takes the gold. I love how lightweight it is and the finish is not to dewy (that I look like a grease ball) yet not to matte (that I look dry and lifeless)! It also doesn’t leave a tacky thick feeling on my skin - once it dries down it feels like a normal moisturiser. It’s the perfect screen for my indoor office days when I don’t need full 50 protection and don’t want to feel like I’m wearing anything. It also sits nicely under makeup as it doesn’t pill or make products seperate. It does have a slight earthy smell (not added fragrance, just the product itself) when applying but that goes away pretty much instantly! Bonus: it didn’t irritate my sensitive rosacea skin so it truely is sensitive friendly!

I LOVE this sunscreen - a fantastic frangrance free, matifying SPF30
27 May 2022

This is the only sunscreen I actually look forward to wearing. It improves the appearance of my skin (brings down redness + minimizes any pigmentation) and has never caused irritation. And it is 100% fragrance free (yay!).I'm on my 4th 50ml 'bottle' of it (ordered from another retailer) and bought the 75ml straight from UV. It does leave a grey cast around my eyebrows (I'm a brunette), but it wears down (or I use an eyebrow pencil). If you're darker skinned, this might not work for you.My one gripe? It's only SPF30. I've seen others with the same complaint, so perhaps UV is working on a higher SPF Clean Screen without compromising the amazing formula. :D(For reference, I have oily, sensitive (rosacea) skin that is prone to congestion.)

I like it a lot - but wish it had a higher SPF rating

Skin note: oily, congestion prone, sensitive, white/pale skin tone.Age: 30sI've tried 3 Ultra Violette sunscreens (Clean Screen purchased via SpaceNK), and this one works best for me. It goes on smoothly, and I agree with another reviewer who compared it to a BB cream as it gives my pale skin a nice finish and almost glow. Some have said that it's very drying -- that's not been my experience at all, but I have oily skin.Note:- not sure this would work for darker skin tones- try and buy a sample kit/size first before buying full-size- Clean Screen is vegan (not all UV products are)- 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the SPF was higher. I've tried the Supreme screen SPF50+, but unfortunately after a few attempts at introducing it into my skincare without any other new products, it irritated my rosacea big time that took time to heal (looked like a rash/breakouts). The Supreme also has a very strong and irritating fragrance (to me -- I gave my bottle to a friend who it doesn't bother), which is why I love that *Clean Screen is fragrance free* (more of that in your lineup, please!). I also had a 3ml sample packet of Lean screen SPF50 (received via my order from Ultra Violette's website), but it was tiny and I'm not sure if my skin was reacting to the Lean screen or something else as the sample was too small to tell.

Nice basic protection but there is white cast
24 January 2023

I like to use this on days that are humid because I find that this helps with oily skin and it's quite comfortable to wear. My face is not as shiny by end of day when I use this. I also really like that there is hardly any scent to this. The down side is that there is a slight white cast to it. I would not recommend this sunscreen for anyone who is tanned or darker as the white cast would be more obvious. The person wearing it might need to use a bit more bronzer to balance it out. I would recommend this for fair-light skin tones. I also wish it was SPF50 rather than 30.

One of my Favourites
3 June 2022

It is a lightweight, mattifying broad-spectrum sunscreen that has no scent whatsoever (no sickly chemical smell) and does not cause me to break out. It provides a nice smoothing effect on my skin and it also doesn't leave a white cast, but to be fair I'm already pale as a ghost.I use it everyday as the last step of my skincare regime, but would definitely recommend it more for the Summer season due to it's drying formula.I don't hate the pump, but I think a regular squeeze tube would be better functioning, plus the cap of my sunscreen doesn't fit too well (will fall off easily).Skin Profile: Combination-Oily, Acne-Prone, SensitiveLocation: Atlantic CanadaClimate: Humid Continental (Dfb)

Perfect face SPF for fair Scandi skin
18 May 2022

I recently got a travel size in a gwp and fell in love. The product has a lovely, light and almost gel-like consistency that absorbs well after a little while and does not leave you greasy, yet gives you luminosity. The tint is very mild and does not cover blemishes but does brighten and even your skintone nicely. If only it had SPF 50 or more, it would be perfect. Despite this having organic filters, I am strongly considering ordering a full size.Indeed, the only minus for me is that this has organic filters in addition to the mineral ones, which I tend to avoid. However, the product itself has a very fair tint, which makes my heart sing because most of the tinted mineral sunscreens I have tried thus far are just too dark for my Scandinavian ultra fair skin. To give context, people have asked me if I'm okay because of how pale I am and I don't need to wonder which shade to pick when shopping for foundation or concealer but simply pick the lightest shade with a neutral or cool undertone.
