I always wanted to buy a smart ring since I saw advertisements for rings but was confused with so many options on the market. after watching the qvc show were justin explained what all this ring can do, i decided that i will buy the ultrahuman ring. i have been using the ring for 2 weeks now and am regretting not buying a ring earlier. first thing in the morning i open the phone app to check my sleep quality for the last night and i am already feeling better and more active in the day. daily reminders about recovery and movement also help me stay healthier. would surely recommend to all my friends and family.

The ring is very comfortable, I would highly suggest ordering the sizing kit and wearing a size from that kit that fits you best for at least one day/night.Data collected appears to be accurate.This device shines as a sleep tracker. I purchased 4 of these rings from QVC and different vendors at different times so the entire family can engage in progress. Mine was first. 31 days it quit charging and wouldn’t link to app. Spent 2-1/2 hours with their customer service who ended up mailing me a replacement. Then I ordered one for my daughter (before mine went out) and it’s been 3 weeks, hers quit working, same thing, not reading charger or connecting to app. She’s currently online with their customer service. 1 week after receiving my replacement ring, (husbands) it stopped reading to app saying to connect to charger to read but unable to read! 3 rings, SAME issue. I ordered from another company a 4th ring. After 3 weeks, same issue!! This company is a fraud! I’ve spent over $1500 and 4 rings ALL ... Got the sizing kit first and not the ring which is a slight bummer but I understand that they can't just send a ring without knowing exact size. The ring is so light that while wearing the ring I don't even feel it is there. Knowing my sleep quality everyday in the morning is priceless. Best part is that it tells me the best time of the day to have my caffeine (americano lover here!) based on my body clock, so that my sleep is not affected. Heart rate and body temperature monitoring are great because I can now know when I am starting to fall sick. I just hope the ring does not get scratched after a few months of use (been 4 weeks now) because I rarely take it off - only for charging for about 1 hour every 3-4 days. Go for this ring, it will make you healthier in the ... Great smartwatch alternative. Now I can use my normal watch and enjoy the insights of a health tracker. I am purposely saying health tracker instead of fitness tracker; this is not the best tracker for sports, you will be better off with a smartwatch for that. But for the other 95% of times, this is an excellent, subtle device which fulfills all my requirements in terms of tracking.While the ring might shine, the app is really the star of the show for me. There are so many different data points you can look at and all of them are motivated and explained in clear terms. Finally, I don't understand why this product got seemingly review-bombed by 1-star reviews? It's really good, and you shouldn't be discourages by that.
The ring itself is pretty comfortable and looks great. The Gold color is noticeable yet quite subtle, looking polished and posh overall. It's lightweight and feels like a sophisticated accessory to have with me. The battery life is excellent and generally matches what the company claims. The Ultrahuman app shows a lot of data points which are helpful but could use a bit of streamlining and simplification (ex: focus on the most important data points and show them upfront).
I had to call the company to reset the ring a few times because it wasn’t showing me any statistics. They kept saying that I needed to delete and reinstall the app but that deletes all data every time you do it. So long story short there has been some technology issues with this ring. The ring scratches very easy and I think after a year I will not want to wear it anymore seeing how much it has scratched in such a short time. It’s very big and bulky. Hopefully in a few years another company will come out with something a little more upgraded.

Surprisingly I had different size for my ring finger vs my index finger. I went for Aster Black which turned out of be much better IRL that the color depicted in the sizing kit.The sizing kit was a lifesaver, ensuring that the ring fits perfectly and comfortably.Once I had the right size, it was incredibly easy to set up and start using. I just put it on charge 10 mins every morning while getting ready and I never have to bother about it running out ... Even the Garmin watch which is at a disadvantage due to its location on the wrist does better, claiming only 94%. However the more important factor is that the SpO2 reading has numerous drops during my sleep, reaching the low 80s.- Due to the useless active heart rate measurements, the breathwork and workout features have limited usefulness.- VO2Max as a single overall measurement doesn't make any sense. VO2Max is specific to individual muscles (a study was performed where participants trained on an exercise bike with only one leg, then performed a VO2Max test with the trained leg and with the untrained leg, only the trained leg showed improved VO2Max) so it makes no sense to claim a general VO2Max measurement the way Ultrahuman does.- Baseline HRV (for me ~30ms) matches neither Kubios nor EliteHRV (both ~20ms), both of which measure using an ECGThe only thing they do that really seems accurate and properly thought through is the Metabolism section but this is because it relies on third-party blood-glucose sensors like the Abbott Freestyle Libre. This feature also requires an expensive subscription (25/month if you buy the sensors yourself, 249/month if you buy them through Ultrahuman). But even this has flaws: their own database of nutrition information is very limited and if you use the integration with MyFitnessPal for example, they don't read the correct time from your food log, so they can't properly correlate meals with blood glucose changes.I've reported many of these issues to Ultrahuman and while the response has usually been quick and polite (they have a chat feature directly in the app), they haven't been able to fix anything.I would not recommend anybody purchase the ring as this time. Maybe later when they've worked out the bugs.

From my point of view, these two types of devices offer completely different things...Smartwatches are bigger and have an OS running there offering you quite a lot of things that your smartphone does. But would you compare a smartwatch and a smartphone? That would make no sense... Completely different segments IMHO...Smartrings are the same I would say, they are extremely small, have no OS and just offer basic health metrics monitoring. You have no thing to interact with the ring in the first place, so why are people even comparing both and saying that smartrings are worse than smartwatches? Makes no sense to me...From my perspective, smartrings offers the possibility to people who do not like smartwatches (either the fact that the battery life is bad, or do not want to have notifications all the time on their wrists or just do not like wearing watches during the night or just do not like the smartwatches esthetic at all) to track their health. If you want to to just have basics health metrics and a sleek, small and discrete device then this is definitely the way to go.Now the drawbacks... Announced battery life was around 6 days? I would say 4 days at most, but it is still better than having to charge it every day....In the app, you can switch to the workout modes (there are many such as running, strength training, walking, etc...). I assume it increases the time series precision. However you have to switch the modes manually, which is pretty much annoying...Also another gym related topic. The ring is pretty solid, however scratches happen on any rings. If you want to avoid scratching it during strength training, I recommend using rather thing gloves, which needs some adaptation if you are not used to it.350 bucks for that is rather a steep price, however if you want to have some insights on your health I would say that it is worth it.
