I used another brand of curl shampoo & conditioner for years as it was good & affordable.They changed their product & added an ingredient (rosehip oil) which made the product rubbish.I was gutted as all other curly hair products were so much more expensive & you don’t want to waste money on bottle after bottle trying to find a decent replacement.After one duff choice, I landed on the Curl Jelly shampoo & conditioner. Affordable & it bloomin works!Result! Smells great, not too spendy & brings the natural curl my hair has. 🙌🏼

I’ve already reviewed the shampoo in this line (which I love) and thought I would leave a review on the conditioner after a few uses.For my natural long spiral curls on fine hair this conditioner is perfect. There is enough slip so I can de tangle in the shower but it doesn’t feel too heavy or thick. The conditioner is slightly thinner in consistency than the shampoo. The smell is nice, not too strong.I’ve used the trio of shampoo, conditioner and scrunching jelly now for several washes and I’ve not had to use anything else (no leave in or curl enhancers) and I’ve had the best spirals I’ve ever had! To refresh I just spray with water and the curls bounce back. My hair is bouncy and doesn’t feel dry at all.For me this is a fantastic find!

I've started the Curly Girl Method as my curls were struggling after cancer and the medication I have to take and Radiotherapy Treatment. This product is Curly Girl Approved and it's made a massive difference to my hair. My precious curls are back and happy! Full of bounce and life. I'm so relieved and grateful. Not all Umberto Gianni Products are Curly Girl Approved but this one is.

I'm reviewing the shampoo and conditioner together as I would never use them separately. I had been struggling with my hair which had gone from wavy and manageable to curly and unruly (thanks hormones). I tried so many different shampoos, both pricier and really cheap for curly, wavy, dry and even normal hair to no avail. I finally tried this and I wish I had done so sooner - it would have save a lot of upset and money! The shampoo/conditioner combo are a pleasure to use. I had been losing a lot of hair in the shower too and now it's non-existent as my hair and scalp are both very happy. The conditioner slips through the hair amazingly well - my hair actually swells on application like it's breathing a happy sigh! I use some of the stylers too which are also amazing. I can't thank UG enough for making so many silicone/sulphate free products for curly girls. They're reasonably priced and vegan too!
I’ve been using this gel for years. I have naturally curly hair and this gel works wonders. It’s non sticky with great hold, keeping my curls separated. You only need to use a little so it lasts a long time. A great product.
I like this because it does not irritate my scalp and it does not weigh my hair down. It is incredibly hard to find conditioners that satisfy these two simple requirements, and I have tried many unsuccessful alternatives over the years. This conditioner makes my medium-fine hair smooth and shiny and helps it curl naturally rather than frizz. It also has a mild scent, not overpowering.
So impressed with this conditioner. I could immediately see the difference in my curls whilst applying this product. I’ve been experiencing some issues with frizz and lack of definition and felt so deflated about my hair (even thought about straightening it!) but this is a game changer for me. My curls are so defined, soft and really bouncy. I teamed it up with the shampoo and scrunching gel from the same range. I’m so pleased! The outcome is even better than I expected, these are the best curls I’ve seen in a long while and I’ve been using really expensive brands. Curl Jelly Care is so amazing and affordable. Definitely going to purchase again!
I had high hopes for this as if has good reviews but it did not work for me. My hair looks wavy rather than curly. I have shoulder length thick hair. Maybe it works better on fine hair. I’m giving two stars instead of one because it does make my hair soft and not dry or frizzy. Unfortunately my hair does go much curlier after using other brands. I also bought the shampoo so have 2 bottles I won’t be able to use so I’m disappointed overall.
Have used this for a while now. Quite expensive but less expensive than the curly girl sets. I have found that my hair is a lot more fluffy than it was before with the last bottle which means the curls do not last more than a day. Hopefully they haven’t changed the formula
My hair has a tendency to frizz; let damp air or a hair brush within 20m and I look like I've had a bad 80s perm! I use de-frizz conditioner after shampooing, I also run a small amount through my wet hair, scrunch it and leave it to dry. This is my everyday look, especially when I'm travelling and shampoo and conditioner are the only two products I carry.I also use other products in the range when I'm going out and have more time to fuss over it - all fabulous.
