Awesome shoe to wear after breaking in
What i mean by breaking it in for me as in myself i mean by walking around with it outside and inside your home. But before you use it outside the house you must put a sole protector, its a product that is specifically for the bottom of your shoe especially for clear, translucent sole. I bought the white and black color way which the synthetic leather is white and the upper is black with a clear sole. so about the sole protector it prevents the sole from turning yellow or wear. Thats how i break them in easily by walking with it inside or outside of your home, you can even walk on it in the rain it can last up to a month or more if you care careful. Another way to break them in is to just squat which uses your ankle and toes, and i know there are some people that ... Another way to break them in is to just squat which uses your ankle and toes, and i know there are some people that gets irritated from the laces pinching your front ankle side and the pinky toe side is digging in to your pinky but I promise you that the more you do this or the more you walk with it outside and inside or both the better the shoe will be comfortable on your feet. Oh and also do some dynamic lunges, that helps with making the ankle part loose since i heard people saying that they feel buckling on their shoe I don't know if its both side of the ankle part of the pair or just the left side. Whats awesome about it when the curry 4 is fully broken in and you now wanna use it for indoor basketball games you can now take that sole protector off and you can go out there and play ball without any irritation on your foot/feet. Personally I only use the translucent soles in the indoor court thats why i use the sole protector outside until i break them in. Now that is my meaning of breaking shoes in(only if they're stiff since curry 4 is a stiff shoe) and also you can use SP for solid rubber outsole if you like using them indoor thats their purpose. sorry for a long paragraph its just that I like to make shoes last for a long time. :)... Be Willing To Break Them In; They'll Be Your Fave
For all of Y'All with complaints about material stiffness. Shoes often require break-in time. I’m not sure why consumers nowadays are unwilling to break in shoes. The shoes are not custom built around your foot shape so why would they feel like they were after a single wear for two hours?I, currently, own 24 pairs of Currys and the 4s are unlike any other. They are a "fitted shoe" and definitely require breaking in. My first 2 pairs of Curry 4s felt tight and claustrophobic at first. But, after a couple of days, they began to mold to my foot. My other Curry 4s presented an additional challenge; the left one needing additional stretching. So, those, I took to my fave cobbler, who stretched them where needed and, I use good wooden shoe trees on them when not in ... MoreFor all of Y'All with complaints about material stiffness. If you do this you may injure yourself because you’ve made it so the shoe’s design no longer works as intended. Not every shoe was made for every person. Find a shoe that was made for you, or break in one, and you’ll be surprised at how awesome it is.For me, the Curry 4s are the finest styling, to date and, while require breaking in, once they are, they're fabulous! ...Easily my favorite Currys, so far.... Curry 4 More Rings
It was time for Game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals. Curry came on the court to do his normal pregame routine. But he laced up something different. The UA Curry 4 More Rings. After several months of waiting for it to release, I finally got my hands on a pair and I am not disappointed. I have been wearing them in my games ever since I got them and I can't stop wearing them.- The fit and comfort is incredible, the knit upper snugs to your foot and gets reinforcement from the leather like material also, and I have had no issues with ankle support. I have seen a couple reviews that have said they have gotten blisters form these shoes, but I wonder if they are wearing actual basketball crew socks with them like I do, which makes the experience even better and I haven’t had ... I have seen a couple reviews that have said they have gotten blisters form these shoes, but I wonder if they are wearing actual basketball crew socks with them like I do, which makes the experience even better and I haven’t had any issues with blisters or cuts. The wide base at the heel is great for balance, and I like how the shoe as a whole feels like a second skin.- The cushioning is low to ground, the way Curry likes it, and even though the cushioning is a little minimalistic, I do not have any discomfort from it. I like it because it gives me a better court feel and responsiveness. I am a guard so I need that court feel, and this shoe gives me exactly that.- The traction is beastly. The circular old-school pattern allows me to make quick cuts in every direction, and I would say it is better than the traction on the Curry 1’s and Curry 2’s I have also. On dusty courts, the translucent outsole on the More Rings color way does pick up some dust, but a quick wipe is all you need and you’re good to go. Even when it does pick up a little dust, and I haven’t had a chance to wipe off yet in the speed of the game, I haven’t had any problems with slippage.- People who say these look ugly are really just hating on the Curry line. I know the Curry 3 was kind of a downer for UA, but they have bounced back strong with this one. The shoe aesthetically is in my opinion the best looking basketball shoe on the market right now. Period. The clean white color way especially looks awesome, and the Black/White color way Curry wore in Game 3 looks great too.Overall, this is the best shoe ever released in the Curry line. UA has put out a great performance basketball shoe that also looks awesome for a great price. If you are on the fence on whether to get a pair or not, I highly recommend it.... Show more

Curry 4 shoes that didn't disappoint!
My first Curry shoes, and it didn't disappoint! Traction is really good, sticks to the floor. Fit is really good, I don't like the one booty type shoes but this one really fits well, hard to put in at first but once you get a hang of it, easy. I'm surprised with the toe-box as well, it is roomy enough for normal feet like me. I went half size up and I'm very happy with the fit. Lockdown is good, lateral support is very good mainly with plastic piece on the side with Curry's tattoo in it (><). Very responsive and very light, this compensates the lack of cushioning, cushioning is above average and you can feel it more on the heel, but because it is very light, it compensates the cushioning really well. But if you are a high flyer or heavy guy, you may need to try it on ... Ventilation is average, just right for playing in hours, because of the knit upper. I hope they will have a colourway that alternates the white (knit) and black combination, or the blue and black colourway. Good job, UA. Very impressed with the shoes.... Show more

FloTro Toe color chipped easily
While the shoes literally fits like socks, and have amazing grip on indoor hardwood, there is a design flaw on the tip of the toe, the painted tip would chip off easily and loses its color. It never happened on other variants or colorways.UA promptly accepted return and offered to refund though.... Show more

Lock and fit is amazing and let’s me pull up from anywhere except my ex gf place. Sky blue colorway is fresh air and water that rejuvenates the soul. Socklike component combined with the Flotro outsole makes this a compelling package for any hooper that wants to push their limits beyond traditional basketball and break the mold. Poor quality hurts my left foot so bad
Bad fit for me, I'm usually a size 11 us in men's basketball in other brands like Nike, Adidas, and New balance. But in this pair I had to go a size down since size 11 is way too big for me and so is size 10.5. Each colorway has different materials/ issues. It was a decent performer but the only thing I hate is that its quality, the... Show more

Very uncomfortable and had to return all 3 pairs
I bought three pairs of these as I was soooooo hyped - starting last year during the Finals. On first glance, the shoes look to have great ankle support, have been touted as "low and responsive" and a "glove like 1:1 fit." I felt that they were exceptionally stiff on first try - which continued as I tried to break them in on carpet and hard wood in my house. Most shoes can bed in within a few hours and these shoes just NEVER felt better. The lacing system is exposed on the underside of the upper, and there is really NO ankle support. The ankle sleeve isn't really even tight around your ankle - it just sort of stands up there. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed by the quality of the shoe, the complete lack of comfort and the materials used. I was SOOOO hyped and ... What in the world is "Proprietary Foam"?
Bought the "More Rings" colorway, I'm glad they released those separately for those who could not get the champ pack. I can feel some foam in the heel, but other than that, it's almost like a piece of cardboard in the forefoot. Lockdown feels pretty secure side to side, but I wish they put some foam or pillows in the heel to lock down that heel and for some extra comfort. The materials feel pretty okay overall, but very thin. I like the knit, but not the piece of plastic or cardboard material within the synthetic leather on the side that goes up to the ankle. It definitely needs to be broken in there to be comfortable. The support feels good underneath the foot. I would give this 3 stars if it were solely on comfort and performance, and quality of materials, but 4 ...
