band material. I have an older pair before the name change to Vanish Elite that have a more solid waistband with the back being the same material as the current waistband.
The new one begins to fold over after a couple of wears, still great shorts and will buy again.

Better than the previous version

I was excited to see the return of these shorts. So far they are better than the previous version in few ways. Yes the waistband is now full mesh but it's not really a negative,
still feels fine. I think these are about an inch shorter than before which is something I also like. The hip pocket has been reworked so it's more user friendly. Has a wider
opening and a better approach angle, so happy this was improved. Overall, if you liked the old version you will most likely like this version. I'm hoping they expand the colors
even further. It's nice to have a bright orange this time too. These shorts are now replacing my similar Gymshark shorts. UA has much better customer service too.

5 steps backwards from the previous version. Everything about these shorts is a disappointment. The original version performed better in every way, ie running, HITT, weight training etc. This version is worse in every way for a competitive athlete. The design team failed. Real world or more real world testing would have likely gone a long way.

I had high hopes for these since the stretch woven shorts were so good. This version fixes the zipper pocket - putting it in the correct orientation and actually making it usable. But they carried the worst part of the previous version forward - the waistband - and it now goes all the way around. I get that if you have it a decent waistband, this may compete too much with the unstoppable short, but to charge this much for this low quality of a product is excessive.

These are my go-to workout shorts, year round. They flex and are great for weight lifting, cross training and any aerobic/running activity. I've worn them with leggings and without and they fit well, either way. The key factor for me is the top right hip pocket with a zipper, this is perfect for my cell phone during any workout, for a hands-free experience and I don't have to keep track of my phone and it is not in an uncomfortable or awkward place. I have 7 pairs and highly recommend them! They fit just a bit tight around the waist, but it is good for my workout style.

These shorts are wonderful! They are light and breathable. Having no liner is great so I can easily wear leggings underneath to run. These come in may colors as well and the waist band is stretchy and comfortable. I hope to grab some more in other colors and can't wait to wear these also in the summer as regular shorts!

The old version of these called -Stretch woven training shorts , was FAR superior. Unfortunately you guys ruined these shorts by changing the hem on them, now the way they look on body is awful. And I can’t overstate that enough! Please fix this and bring back the old version, they were far better, and I quite loved the old versions waist band as well. With the new version the waistband just rolls up on the front and it is terrible. I do not know who was allowed to change these shorts, because they use to literally be THE PERFECT shorts! I told everyone about them! Now I tell no one about them because this new model sucks.. please listen to your consumers. P.s - bring back the illusion green colorway!

You guys had the perfect shorts here, and then your tried to innovate on the original design and totally ruined them. I sent back my extra pairs I bought. My original pairs with the normal half inch hem were amazing. But then you guys made the hem different and made them fit smaller and completely ruined ‘em
