Do not recommend.Constantly ‘unlinks’ despite being positioned only a few metres down the hallway. The microphone and speaker need to be so close together they’re almost redundant as we can hear the baby anyway.When it does work, it is fine, however definitely my most frustrating baby purchase!

Awful.Dont waste your money.I was given this as a gift, i appreciate the gesture and was thankful for the money saving as babies are $$....Unfortunately i had to buy a replacement almost immediately.Issues-1.Constantly looses its 'link' with monitor unit.2 Battery dies almost immediately if not plugged in, no stored charge.3. Battery takes too long to 'charge'4. Wire for the plug unit is positioned badly and at the bottom of unit which means it gets knocked/pulled out easily. Really annoying to find it has died and you need to spend ages charging it again.5. Constantly cuts out completely.

Basic audio monitor

Does the job but very basic. Wanted a simple monitor for outside and around the house so could leave and do outdoor/shed tasks while baby was asleep. Unfortunately the advertised 300m range barely extends to the shed (30m) or down the driveway (40m), without beeping intermittently indicating at maximum range. Not sure how the advertised 300m range could possibly work. We have one basic exterior wall (metal cladding, plasterboard, no insulation) and an interior wall between monitor and these distances, and can hear the baby when inside, so the monitor only just does the job required of it. It reminds me of cordless phones of yesteryear which were unable to move from room to room even though that was their intended design application.

Does what is says!

We picked this up about a month ago. At first I thought it was constantly dropping out, but I realised it only picks up when it detects sound (Its not unlinking). So thats good, because now we pay attention to it when it turns on as it usually means little one has made noise. Its very sensitive and has occasionally picked up a passing car, which we don't mind. I would rather it be sensitive to pick up little ones noises. The battery life isn't great, and it takes a long time to charge, but so far it hasn't been a problem. It is reasonably priced and it does the job!

Dropped connection, does the job when working

We lose connection all the time, resulting in an annoying beep (esp at night). The range doesn’t seem to work very far with us (going from master bed, through the living to kids room). Otherwise, it does the job!

Easy and reliable

We've had this monitor for about 6 weeks and so far it's been great. It has good range, so I can take it out to the garden when bub's asleep. I also really like the temperature sensor. It also has a small light to show that it's on - so you can tell from across the room (handy if your short-term memory is shot from baby-wrangling). Also it's a good size - fairly small and more attractive than our last monitor. No complaints here!

Excellent product fit for purpose

I acquired the digital Baby Audio Monitor in order to monitor not a baby but my young Kelpie Scout. She is downstairs in a crate at night and as I had recently installed Aircon I would not have been able to hear her if she needed attention during the night. As my son had recently been here with is baby and was using a monitor I decided to investigate and found the Uniden Digital. This is an excellent product, placed upstairs in a room with a closed door. I tested this and found that I could hear anything from the downstairs room. The monitor is small so not intrusive when placed on a small table near the crate and upstairs the receiver is in a room behind a closed door. What’s not to love. An excellent product exceeding expectations. Thank you

Good value and easy to use

I bought this to allow me to be in other rooms in the house when I had someone who was unwell to look after. It allowed me to be upstairs or even outside and still be aware of any need to attend to them. Has a good range and audio was quite clear. I did sometimes wish I had a visual as well, but this product performs as described at a great price.

Great peace of mind.

This a great little monitor for peace of mind. It has good range. I can go outside with the hand piece and still be connected. It has good battery life so far in the month I have been using it. The only thing against it is the audio, it isnt perfect clear but is definitely useable. Well worth the money spent.

Misleading product. Requires mains power.

The microphone end requires mains power. Product description implied both microphone and speaker ends were battery powered, which is what I needed. By the time the order arrived, it was too late to return the product for a refund as CW only allows a return within. 6 days of the initial order.
