Ordered Thursday night, and arrived Monday morning, pretty good I think.Uniden are a quality product. I have tested it in an urban environment with all sorts of barriers making transmitting and receiving difficult, however the results were surprisingly reasonable I do believe you may achieve it’s stated 17klm in an uninterrupted line of transmission. I paid $208 with a $10 off first buy discount. I don’t know, and it doesn’t say the dbi rating of the aerial but there may be other options to change out there. All in all with all accessories is a pretty good value buy.

The fact that the product was faulty, the PTT key did not allow me to transmit, certainly clouds any positivity for this product. Uniden has a wonderful name and I thought this would be a reliable purchase. Unfortunately no!Guess there are always a few lemons, and I was unlucky enough to purchase one. Feeling very sour!!!Buying online was expedient, but the lack of resolution with replacing my faulty Uniden UH850 handheld radio was not, and is still unresolved. Yet to hear from the seller, who should honour their warranty. Mydeal have acknowledged my report of the issue and did so very promptly, yet it seems it is the seller and not mydeal, to resolve this issue. Not sure I would purchase again online.

The radio unit itself is high quality and exactly what one would expect for the price. Excellent performance, am very happy with it. That said, the accessories are a little "cheap" and don't inspire too much confidence- but they do the job OK. Would highly recommend!

Great little device for that long road trip and nice to take on a hike. Does need the cradle to charge, even in the car but has super long battery life.
I own other Uniden UHF handheld radios. However, as we were heading into a remote outback trip, I felt that we need something better to avoid any problems. This product was working correctly for our needs and easily beating the other car installed radios: excellent product and worth the money.

A good handheld unit. In car charging simply requires an accessory unit (CK850). It does everything I wanted.

Seems to be a quality product. Have only had it for a short time but am happy so far. The clarity is very good.Only gave it a 4 as I was told at pickup that the RACQ discount didn’t apply to online orders. The only reason I had to order online was because my local store didn’t stock it.
fell off my belt from waist high. shattered. battery cannot remain in place. have to buy a new one now. not rugged.
