I was really disappointed with this product. Having had my ghd straighteners for the last 10 years I thought Id invest in their dryer hoping for the same service. Whilst this kit has everything you need and presented in a lovely box, the drying unit itself is just far too heavy!! It would probably be ok for short hair but I having long hair and it taking a while to dry I sent it back and have opted for another brand which is alot lighter.

Just as any other ghd product this blow dryer kit will make sure your hair feels perfect everyday.I’ve had permanent curls for awhile and the diffuser works fine, but is more wavy than curly after, but that can easily be because my hair weighs the curls out.I usually use a ghd styler to straighten my hair, but used the wide nozzle to blow dry it straight and it lasted for several days without curling up again, which I have never experienced before. It would usually need a lot of hairspray to keep it straight for days, even with the styler. I have very flyaway, frizzy, fine hair with a bit of natural curl so wanted the diffuser. Unfortunately I find the hairdryer slightly too powerful / blowy for the diffuser because it still blows my hair around which blows the curl out. Using the hairdryer with the nozzle is great and is better when I section my hair. I guess I'd like a hairdryer that replicates air drying but can inject a bit of volume to my crown - if GHD can achieve this, I'd be delighted. But this is a great product, exceptional quality.

I tried (and returned) a few different hairdryers with diffusers in the mid-range price bracket. It was a frustrating search! Every one of them had something 'not right' -as if the designers have no idea how wavy/curly hair is meant to be dried! Either the diffuser was too small, the dryer was too powerful, too noisy, too awkward/heavy to hold, too short a cable, too hot...so I relented and splashed out on the GHD one as a last try! I bought this product a month ago and am extremely happy with the purchase. The hair dryer is lightweight and is extremely effective at controlling flyaways. I purchased this products about a month ago, because my old hairdryer (over a decade old) broke. I noticed ghd products at Made and Taylored tiktok account. This hairdryer + accessories combo is definitely worth the money. I am hoping to try the diffuser over the summer when my hair gets a bit more wavy.Overall, good size hairdryer (heavier compare to my old Remington one) but because of its power, your hair is dried and style in matter of minutes!I am very happy with my purchase and recommend to buy a high quality hairdryer to anyone! 😉
I have curly hair and like to just wash my hair and go. This hairdryer replaced one which I had had for years. Wow !!! What a difference!!! It is so easy to use, light, easy to handle, very controllable and dries my hair beautifully in less than 10 minutes (with a diffuser). Leaves my curls defined and shiny. Wish I had got it months before. Only 4 stars because it is expensive, compared to similar type hairdryers.
It lives up to its claims “salon finish 2x faster” 100% without doubt. This hairdryer is amazing ive brought so many hairdryers over the years! The ghd air hairdryer is amazing. I wish I had brought this years ago my hair feels so soft and doesn’t get frizzy and the power of the motor helps it to align better my style.
