'Water Resistant' DIED 1st x. Came w/o needed BOX

'Water Resistant' DIED 1st Time - Came w/o Manufacturer's Box -It is Needed for Proper Use ...An ocean swimming buddy wears this watch and recommended it for swimming.I loved the Big, Clear look of it with NO Bells or Whistles! So I bought it.I wore it for 30 min max in the ocean %26 it's dead.-----On the back of my watch it says, Water Resistant (w/ no Ranking %23)In the very all inclusive, generic instructions etc. Cassio explains its watches are RANKED. RANKING is ON their BOX. Level of Water Resistance cannot be determined WITHOUT THE BOX RANKING.Mine DID NOT come in a box just bubble shipping bag..... Absolutely perfect for the money.

Absolutely amazing value for the quality and look of the watch. Very comfortable to wear being smaller and lighter than my posh watch which must have cost 30 times as much. OK if you look at the back you can tell its not a top of the range watch but for what I bought it for (when I'm doing DIY etc.) it's exceeded my expectations by a huge factor. Alltogether probably the best ever value item I have ever bought, and aso to me it's very easy to read the time from. I love it.

Disappointed

Bought one for myself. Liked it, so bought one for my better half. I'm disappointed by both. I removed the watch only when taking a shower, and never put it under pressure, yet a few months later the strap broke. A few days later the battery on my better-half's watch stopped. I couldn't open the back to change the battery. A couple of days later my better-half tried to change the time (the watch was still going at times) and the winder came off!

Great value Casio watch

Great little watch at a very affordable price. All Casio watches are great time keepers and this one is also feather light and comfortable to wear. It is more suitable for a woman or teenager due to it's small size but can just about fit a mans arm. I bought this watch for my wife and she loves it. I tried it on my wrist but it looked lost and only just managed to do the strap up in the last hole but one. It looks neat and cool on my wife's wrist and is so light and comfortable she sometimes forgets she is wearing it.

Uncomfortable to wear now because of uneven surfaces on the metal clasp. Will not buy another if it is made in Japan after this let down.

I have been buying this watch for many years for personal use. Why you may ask. It is inexpensive but does have one major flaw. The strap keeps breaking, not strong enough. The watch lasts for far longer than the strap. Previous purchases have been made in China. This one was made in Japan and I prefer the previous (chinese) product for two reasons. The clasp on that was comfortable and on this one it is irritating my skin. That is because there are uneven edges on the metal clasp which is down to a change of design and poorer quality finish. Also the glass on the Japanese one is sticking up, proud of the bezel. The previous chinese one was flush and therefore thinner.
