This is just like regular Uno, but players divide up into teams to share scores. The problem is, the rules state that partners can't show each other the contents of their hands or communicate any details. This doesn't really add anything to the play experience, making the partnership aspect feel like a tacked on mechanic that serves no purpose at all. Uno Flex or Uno Flip have more mechanics and more ways to play, but are priced around the same as Teams. I suggest getting one of those editions instead.

This is by far our favorite alternative version of Uno so far. Sometimes is it difficult to find games that allow for a more equal playing field with a range of age levels in our family. Uno teams is great because if you know how to play Uno, you can jump right in, yet there is a new strategic element with the team concept. Our kids easily caught on after pairing each one up with one of the adults. After a couple of rounds, we switched it up to adults vs kids, and the kids pulled off a win! Rounds of play can be relatively short or may extend a bit longer, but the simplicity of the original game is still there. We will definitely keep this in our top favorites right now.

I fully read the instructions once before playing. During the game I would refer to the instructions as the cards with new cues came up. We are HUGE Uno fans at our house! We have atleast 10 different Uno sets. So, we were thrilled to see a new twist on our fave game. Our family had a blast playing in pairs. It definitely made it more fun and challenging to work together to beat the other team. I received this free in exchange for my honest review.
My family and friend group has loved playing Uno for as long as I can remember. We were excited to try this new Uno teams game. It took us some time to learn the rules, you do need a min. of 4 people to play and an even number. It has some new cards and is SO fun! It makes the game more of a competition and we love it! The rules were easy to learn and my kids enjoy playing too.
A perfect twist on a classic game that makes it more fun for families with younger children. I love that I can partner with my youngest daughter and we get to play as a TEAM instead of me just helping her or the two of us competing against her sisters. I like the pairing up of players to make it more family friendly with not quite as much competition among family members ending in tears and fights. I like the cards/play options that are new to this version specifically. Passing cards and strategizing with another player is a lot of fun and adds a new interest to the game.
This is really a great twist on an old game. Takes Uno up a notch by having teams instead of playing individually. You pass cards to your partner, you trade hands with your partner. Even when you think you're out of the game you might not be as your partner can hand you cards back. Very fun and you never know how the game will end.
So basically this is a standard uno deck but with some new rules.In order to play you should be either 4,6 or 8 persons to start.You need a teammate that sits on your opposite.The colored cards are basically the same as the regular uno except there are 'passing symbol and +2 on the teams cards so if you have to pass your teammate also and/or take de +2 you and your teammate.There is no wild+4 in this version of uno.It was fun to play with my kids, they had a lot of fun also is not hard to get the hang out of it.
I played with my nephews and niece and I gotta say this got us yelling at each other more than the original Uno but in a totally fun way. The fact we have a teammate makes it more fun. We were playing for over two hours. It’s definitely longer to try to end the game. You can swap cards with your buddy and call out uno for your teammate if they forget. It’s definitely in rotation for games we play with family. You definitely need to try it out.
This is such a fun game! Our family of 4 was able to take a game we already love, and add teamwork and communication into it. There are new cards in the deck that work with the team format including passing cards and wild team play cards. The hardest part is remembering to not break the communication rules, and not give your partner info about your cards.
