Unstable Unicorns - Game

Took a few rounds to get the hang of it, and a few cards we felt were open to interpretation. The rules were pretty clear (minus a couple cards). Once we got the hang of it, we got pretty intense. This is not a game for everyone- it requires a little thought and strategy. The concept is really quite dumb, but kinda genius at the same time. I recommend this game to people that have a little patience (to learn the game).

The game is an exercise in frustration. This is not a game for kids or adults that are wanting to have fun, banter, and cut up as they enjoy family game night. You have to read and re-read the rules multiple times throughout the game just to muddle your way through one round, then everyone wants to fight about what they think the rules were and what the cards “really” mean. Get Oregon Trail if you need a card game or uno.

This game is one of many games coming out recently, card games with fun artwork based off of Exploding Kittens. It even takes some card ideas, like the "neigh"/"nope" card to negate an action. It is probably the most complicated card game I've played, not only because the rules themselves are a little complex, but every card has its own actions, sometimes adding together into quite complicated turns. Next, in Exploding Kittens, Nope cards are fun and pretty well balanced, however, more of a good thing isn't always fun, because this game I think has far too many Neigh cards.
