This is a great addition to the vista 2 if you have a second child that may be too big for a seat on the stroller. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because when the stroller is closed it does kind of her in the way of closing/opening. The stroller and piggyback combo would be perfect if the handle had one or two more holes to provide your LO kore space while on the board. Lastly you find yourself kicking it when you walk but again this could be fixed if the handle bar went back more.

We originally got the UppaBaby stroller because we loved all the possible configurations and that we could make it into a double stroller. By the time our youngest was born our oldest exceeded the weight and height for the seat. We’ve used this ride along board so much through Disneyland, Zoos, etc.. It’s the perfect alternative to a double stroller and my kids love it. They think it’s so fun. We’ve been stopped multiple times by people wanting information about it. I do not regret this purchase.

Bought this after some deliberation due to the price- however it really does work well with the pushchair. No need to take it off to collapse the pushchair, we don't need to take it off to put the pushchair in the car like a previous reviewer mentioned and it clears the basket to fold up really easily when not needed. It's surprisingly sturdy and copes well with uneven terrain and going up high curbs.I'm glad we spent the extra as it just works and doesn't annoy me!Shame it's so expensive but that's uppababy for you.

I love the idea of this attachment however it feels like an after thought for the stroller and doesn't function well. The pro of it is that when my toddler decides he wants to ride on it, it keeps him safe and close to me in parking lots. When I first purchased it he loved it but now the novelty has worn off. The cons:- My son is 40" tall and has a hard time fitting even with the handle bars fully extended. His head gets bumped by the handlebar, especially the part that sticks out to adjust handlebar height.- You can't use a drink holder that hangs between the handle bars because that's where your child stands now- at 5'4" I kick the board with every step even with the handle bars fully extended so when my son rides on it push the stroller with one hand and ... MoreI love the idea of this attachment however it feels like an after thought for the stroller and doesn't function well. I should have bought this sooner! That's my only complaint. My 21 month old son loves riding on his board like a big boy. Anyone with a toddler boy knows that you have to move quickly. Now, I can just tell him to "step up" and he effortlessly gets on and we're ready to go.I'm 5'2 and have no problem walking with the board down. When I don't need it, it conveniently lifts and locks into place.A surprise added use is when my son is sleeping in his seat I previously had to carry around a heavy store handle basket to shop. Now, I can rest my basket on the board and have it trail along with us.Folding the board to get it in the car as one unit is honestly a bit trickier. You have to make sure your handle bar is fully extended and fold the board over your seat not under it or you can store the seat separately if you have the room. I pack it both ways because if the seat is facing me and I have to take it off to turn it around anyways, it's just easier for me to place it directly in the trunk.Overall, this piece is a "must have" whether or not you have two or more kids.
My daughter loves this, I found it a little tricky to fit (probably because I was worried of breaking it) but now on it’s really easy to use and tackles bumps well. You can push it up when not in use and release it down when you want to use it which is great so you don’t have to keep taking it on orOff. The button mechanism to lower it down seems a Little stif and as though there is a certain way of Doing it but it doesn’t put meOff. Plenty of foot space for my two year old although height wise when she isOn she often bumps her head on the handle bar as it doesn’t quite extend enough and makes it tricky for you toPush the pushchair as you feelLike you will tread on the board but overall all great addition.
I’ve only used this thing twice but I’m still not sure about it.Pros:- My little one likes riding on it.- Great for when they need to get on and off the stroller a lot. Saves time not having to buckle them into the seat.Cons:- Child is not restrained and buckled in like the seat so depending on my two year olds mood determines whether or not she stays holding on. I can’t push the stroller at a fast pace in case she’s not feeling like listening and decides to let go of the stroller handle or randomly steps off.- If the stroller handle is extended all the way out my little one is leaning back a lot, close to a 120 degree angle.- To keep my little one standing as close to upright when riding the stroller handle has to be pressed all the way in, then I’m either ... MoreI’ve only used this thing twice but I’m still not sure about it.Pros:- My little one likes riding on it.- Great for when they need to get on and off the stroller a lot. Not a smooth or quick process.- When the board is up the wheels are facing outs If you get too close you’re going to get dirty. I had shorts on the first time I used this and ended up with black marks all over my legs.
My older son loves riding on this when we go out and I love that he can hop on and off as he pleases. It was a little difficult to install as there is no marker on the stroller frame for where it should attach but once on its easy enough. It is a little bulky when down you have to sort of change how you walk since it is right in your footpath but you get used to very quickly. It does make the compact fold a little tricky too, make sure you have the canopy on the seat all the way down and the handlebar all the way up to fold.
I got the piggy back before getting a second seat. It’s very useful and my son loves it. Not recommended for long walks though as my toddler did get tired. Also the piggy back doesn’t allow you to get as close to the stroller so you’re kind of stretching your arms forward and your tush out to move the stroller. It annoys me in general how expensive uppa baby accessories are, considering how expensive the stroller already is. Overall this is a product I would recommend.
Yes, it’s expensive. However as other reviewers pointed out, you get what you pay for. It fits the pram perfectly, tucks away neatly when not in use. I was a little concerned that it might not work as well with the carrycot (it does, as long as the handle is fully extended) or with an older toddler. However my (tall) 3.5 year-old has immediately taken to it. He calls it his surfboard and it has massively sped up the nursery run. Amazing product, shipped quickly and efficiently.
