Does not cover white brow hairs.
I recently purchased this from Sephora because the Inked is no longer available and wanted to try this as a replacement since it is waterproof. This does not cover white brow hairs, which I have mixed in with my black/brown brow hairs. Also, I think the wand/brush applicator is a bit too big for brows and I have very full brows. I don't need the fibers in this, but they don't seem to be too much. I bought the Dark Drapes, which is the color I had in Inked. The Inked covered the white brow hairs well and looked and felt natural and it was waterproof. The only thing I didn't like about Inked was the applicator, but I used to use it with an old, small brow mascara applicator that I kept from another brand. Most brow gels/mascara are not waterproof, but I feel they should be (hello getting caught in the rain, wanting to go for a swim or sweating during a workout - we're human not plastic dolls). I used to use the old MAC Pro Longwear brow mascara and that was fabulous, so of course they discontinued it. I guess I will wind up returning this to Sephora and getting my old standby Charlotte Tilbury, which covers the white hairs well and looks natural but isn't waterproof.... Show more

GINGERS REJOICE
all right folks, I rarely write reviews but this product is a must. I am a natural ginger with brow hairs that are essentially bleach blonde and very fine so they do NOT like to stay in place with most gels. I For years, Glossier Boy Brow in Auburn was my HG brow gel but this product in Gingersnap has replaced it tenfold. Everything from the color, to the opacity, to the amount of hair fibers, and the brush is perfect. Like other comments have said the formula is light and the color payoff can be lackluster for some, but that lightness is what is PERFECT for the gingersnap color. it looks SO natural and it goes on so smoothly to my hairs while successfully filling in any gaps. on top of that the dry time is wonderful and this gel holds my brows all day where with ... I still use clear on top to enhance hold but its ddfinitely not necessary like it was before. I love love love love this product. The price is high but it's a standard mascara tube size as compared to much smaller tubes for most brow gels so it balances out. This product may not be for everyone but it sure is the best ginger product I've tried in a very long time.... Great formula, misrepresented color
The good: the formula! I feel like it's impossible to put too much on, while the fibers make my brows look naturally fuller. It really holds my brows in place without feeling like cement, and I've never had a problem with anything rubbing off on my sunglasses. I also really like the component, as I've had issues with other brands brow products coming apart while I'm using them. The bad: THE COLOR. I purchased "blackout" since I have black hair and want my eyebrows to match. It's described as "soft black" but i'd say it's more of a medium -dark ash brown. It made my eyebrows look grey! Friends with dark/deep skin tones wanting to have black brows: beware as this will make your brows look especially odd.... Show more

PERFECT for redheads!
I stumbled upon this product while browsing Ulta back around the beginning of March. Its now almost June and I use this brow gel almost every single day and am obsessed! It's hard to find decent shade matches for people with copper/auburn or strawberry blonde hair so I was super excited to find this. I normally use Auburn brow definer by ABH and still do, but having fine brow hairs, I have to normally use a taupe colored gel from any other brand. This stuff is GOOD! I love how thick it gets my brows, but yet still keeps them fluffy and not sticky or crunchy. You can layer the product a couple times to get the look you like. I hope UD never discontinues this! I also tested the new brow pen but decided to try this first; I will be purchasing the pen next! It's kind of ... [Rewarded Review] Big Bush Brow
This review was written in exchange for the product. The Urban Decay Big Bush Brow is a "volume building tinted gel+hold." Typically I purchase these two types of products separately so a product that has both was just what I needed. The brow applicator is pretty large compared to the standard so it works well for my brows. I apply it to my whole brow when I am in a rush and do not have time to be precise and pencil in little hairs. I can do two or three swipes and I am good. However, it does leave a little bit of clumping at times that I need to brush in or blend out. I tend to also have a bad habit of touching or rubbing my face and with my brows, I have not noticed any movement or smudging (yet) but I also do not vigorously rub my eyebrows like I would for my ... Even though this product was sent to me I do wish to acknowledge the price. It is a pretty standard price for a UD product. I have not really seen a product with this large of an applicator (yet). The packaging again is standard for UD, not over the top and simple. I am not sure how it would look/work for someone with thinner brows or less hair for it to cling to, this product might benefit those with thicker hair or who want to have that thick brow look.... [Rewarded Review] Fuller Brows Indeed
I am always looking for ways to make my Eyebrows look fuller and thicker as they are thin and sparse lol. Thanks to Urban Decays Big Bush Volumizing Tinted Brow Gel I can create that look instantly! This Brow gel has hair like fibers that will give you that "bushy" look. The more you apply the bushier the brow. On days I wanted a more natural look I just applied less product. I have the shade Dark drapes and this paired nicely with their Brow Blade in the exact shade.I used this for a week before giving my honest review. I can confirm it didn't smudge and stayed put all day and night! I highly recommend it.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Good for filling certain gaps
I use the Big Bush Brow in Taupe Trap. The color was a little darker than the Taupe Trap Brow Blade I also have. I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand, I do think having the slightly different shading makes my brows look more natural when using both products. On the other hand, it’s listed as the same color, so I did assume they’d be the same exact color. Either way, this did a great job filling in the inner halves of my eyebrows, where some hairs space out a bit. The brush may need a bit more refinement/perfecting, as even though the applicator itself was smaller than a mascara wand, it still felt too big for the detail work that brows sometimes require.... [Rewarded Review] Perfect!
Thank you Urban Decay for allowing me to test out your products. I’m in love with the collection. The colors match perfectly together in your line! Great job on that. It’s hard finding a collection of products that is consistent with the color matching. The Big Brush Brow Gingersnap works well. The quality of the brush is great. It’s smooth not hard at all. The tint is beautiful, looks natural. However, be delicate with the application it’s pigmented. I enjoy the small and big bristles on the applicator. I appreciate the fact this is waterproof and vegan formula. My brows were nice today even after the snow! My husband complimented me as well. I highly recommend this brand. Thank you for creating a wide range of brow products for customers!... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Subtle color and decent hold
First- I’m impressed with the hold! It’s not as good as their Brow Slick, but in my experience, tinted brow gels have almost no hold and this absolutely does. I have pretty thin brows- I’ve had a lot of trouble filling them in without looking obvious, especially right at the beginning of the brows. This is my favorite brow product I’ve tried for this! I used Cafe Kitty, and it was a nice subtle wash of brown. It added some depth without being obvious. If you’re looking for a thick brow, this might not be your jam. But a more natural manicured look- definitely.... Show more

Very Meh
Normally I used the Kosas brow gel but wanted to try something new. Purchased this after seeing a few rave reviews. Very meh brow gel overall. The brush is HUGE and allows for little to no precision. I ended up using the cleaned brush from my used up Kosas. The product itself is like a slightly tinted glue…there’s no fibres to be found so it didn’t fill in my sparse areas like the Kosas. I found the color horrible, like a light grey brown, nothing dark brown about it. And trying to build it up, no way. It would stick to itself in a weird glue stick like way but in patches and ended up looking weird. Long lasting product however; would last through sweaty gym sessions. Overall, would not repurchase and think this is better suited for someone who has naturally full ... MoreNormally I used the Kosas brow gel but wanted to try something new.
