Urban Decay Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette

This was my first high end palette way back in maybe 2013. I loved it and used it very regularly along with Naked2. I kept the palette in my makeup archive well after expiry simply because of the sentimental value, though i never actually used it. Finally this past summer i decided to throw it out but always told myself if i saw i good deal i would get it again.Well i saw a deal, and i got it, and omg it is still as perfect as ever. Perfect for every day, perfect for a smokey eye, just the perfect tones for my skin tone. Everything blends effortlessly. I have a larger eye palette collection, and have tried so many in the last decade since i first purchased it. And yet it truly is in my top 2, possibly my #1 all time favourite palette. Yeahhhhh so I had high hopes for the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, especially after loving the original Naked palette for so long. BUT unfortunately, this one just doesn’t live up to the same standard. The rose-toned shades are pretty in theory, but they lack the versatility and richness that made the original so iconic. The pigmentation isn’t nearly as intense as I expected. It sucks. I find myself having to apply multiple layers just to get the color to show up, which is disappointing for a brand like Urban Decay. By midday, the colors have lost their vibrancy, leaving me with a washed-out look that I didn’t sign up for. So while the packaging and color concept are cute, the performance just isn’t there. It’s not a bad palette, but it’s nowhere near as good as the original, and for the price, I expected much better.

This is my first experience with an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette (I've used their single eyeshadows before, and I absolutely love their 24/7 glide-on eye pencils), but I caved in and got it on sale from Sephora. It's a beautiful neutral palette, great for everyday use. You can go from day to night with this palette in an instant. I love how their shimmery shadows look, and their mattes are also great. It does take a bit more product to achieve my looks when compared to Natasha Denona (and a tad more effort to blend it), but it still feels more luxurious than Drugstore palettes. Fall out was minimum. I love the brush that came with it, and the package looked cute on the outside, but when I opened it, it looked a bit cheap inside. All in all, it was a good purchase.

The palette comes with 12 universally flattering shades and finishes ranging from matte to metallic, that work with every eye shape, eye color and skin tone. The eyeshadows are creamy and really pigmented and blend really well together. The eyeshadow colors are Definitely buildable if you want to have a more dramatic effect and you can pull off a really nice smokey eye using only this pallete! The eyeshadow doesn't fallout on rest of your makeup when you're blending it which is a plus. The only drawback is that there’s no applicator or brush in palette. I loveeeee Urban Decay eyeshadows. The pallet I have is not exact the same but very close. I got this as present for Christmas from my sister-in-law and instantly fell in love. The pallet are mix with multiple colors and you pick what pallets you want to buy. You can buy individual colors but the whole pallet is cheaper and premix with colors that would go well together that create classy look. The colors are easy to mix and blend in wonderfully. It stay on my eyes the whole night without mess. I get a lot of compliments on my eyeshadow. Cleaning is easy. I use make wipes and it go away without hassle. I have eyeshadow from other brands even Mac and Chanel but love Urban Decay more. The pallets cost about $50 but you can find cheaper at Nordstromrack for about $30.

I have been wearing this pallette since it first released. It stays put all day long, the color pigment is very rich and covers well. I love the feel of the product and the fact that you can put it on in the monring and it lasts for 12+ hours of wear. It looks outstanding on and it is very long lasting. The brush is super soft and a great tool. Pigmented neutral shadow- perfect for any skin tone . Good value. Smooth application similar to higher end brands. Colors are exactly as described--rosy neutrals I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.

For starters the packaging is soo cute, 🥰 I don't mind paying a little more for things that look super nice in their packaging, same with fragrances. Anyway I'm a fan of their naked honey pallet a few years ago.. ( still have it and use it) I've wanted this one for a bit but never pulled the trigger until now and... Honestly I really wish I had done it sooner!! The mattes and shimmers are just lovely, easy to blend with great payoff color wise!! I love nudes but it's nice to have it be pinks and cooler tones that actually look good on me!! Also there is like no fall out and it's very pigmented which is like MY BIGGEST concern when buying a pallet. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it.
