I purchased this filter specifically for a lens that?s still backordered, but I went ahead and tried it out on a different lens just to see how it worked. The filter itself is well constructed and the case is great. So far, the filter seems to work as intended, though I can see that I definitely need to learn a little more about infrared photography and how to adjust the images in post. I?m excited to learn more and expand my photography horizons!

Nice filter works as promised. This is not technically an IR filter, it allows only red light through. The results are great.
First impressions were very good. Took it out straight away and got some amazing shots straight out the camera. Gives the images a real boost. Used when camera was set to monochrome as well, and very impressed with the results.
The filter is very well built and the optical quality is very high. It was an excellent tool to introduce myself into IR photography.
Well packaged with cleaning cloth and protective can. It would be nice to have some instruction like an exposure calculator with the product.
Really enjoying this filter and the learning how to process infrared images. If you’re ever feeling bored with photography get one of these to get that fire back
I'm using it for more then month and I'm really satisfied how it performs.
Very strong red, seems almost a tincture. Need to test on a very bright day to smooth the color, but is vivid and sharp.
according to my spectral measurements this filter does not cut off all wavelength below 720 nm as advertised. It does cut of wavelengths below 540 nm like a deep red filter. I am gladly provide you with the spectral transmission curves (JPG files) taken with a 600l/mm grating and a CFL lamp.
