After being bitterly disappointed with the very expensive AYANEO NEXT PRO, I was reluctant to jump back into the portable gaming PC market - especially since Valve didnt release the Steamdeck in Australia!! But this light little gaming device is great. The battery isnt the best and I wish it could play my Xbox game pass and Epic games, but its surprisingly stable and plays most of my steam library. Highly recommended if you can get one on the cheaper end of the scalper prices!

Valves first console success it is a beast of a machine that can even emulate up to ps3 games.
It's the perfect handheld device for games. Valve knocked it out of the park. Can even be docked and put on my TV with a controller. So good.
Ive had the steam deck for about 2 weeks and Skyrim is the perfect match made in heaven.
Works perfectly , a great machine
It has a glitch here and there and 1 of the buttons needs attention, but I bought the warranty just in case. I give it a solid 95.
So far so good! Very versatile software with a powerful hardware. I really wanted to play some PC games that I had a long time ago, and some games that a friend showed me on Xbox, to my surprise Steam has almost everything and then some. I have games from every console and on the go! Maybe later on I will upgrade the storage and try emulators, but for now, I enjoy committing to a few games at a time. Battery life is good for me, either way I don't have much time to play, but if you play for 5+ hours at a time then you might want to look into getting a battery pack.
