I trust conventional Valvoline oil!! My 1st car was a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500, 3rd owner. My current vehicle is a 1994 Ford Explorer XLT, 133,000 original miles. I will not use another motor oil in my vehicles!! My Fords appreciate it as much as I do 😃

Easy peasy.

Easy to purchase, easy to order, easy to use. Knowing I have oil changes approaching, I order ahead. I swear, Valvoline marketing knows when my vehicle is getting close. They offer deals about that same time!

Great product

I have used this in my 1998 Toyota Tacoma since 2004. It runs like brand new truck and uses no oil. I have taken a light and shined it through the oil filler cap and it looks like you could eat off of it. (If you don't mind your food having oil on it lol). I use it in all my vehicles now. Now that that have the easy pour cap its even better. I hate other jugs where I have to open them, then break off some safety seal that sometimes tears off completely or sometimes leaves bits stuck to the mouth of the jug. Other jugs also don't all have pour handle. This one does. It really does make an oil change easier.

I BUY THIS PRODUCT CONTINUALLY
14 April 2021

I BEGAIN USING VALVOLINE NEARLY 40 YEARS AGO ON ADVICE OF A FRIEND. IT WAS USED EXCLUSIVELY IN MY RENTAL EQUIPMENT BUSINESS. SOME EQUIPMENT REQUIRED ROUTINE OIL ANALYSIS TO MAINTAIN WARRANTY. OIL TESTS WERE ALWAYS ABOVE MANUFACTURER SPECS. VALVOLINE 10W-30 CONVENTIONAL OIL HAS BEEN USED EXCLUSIVELY IN OUR 2004 TOYOTA CAMRY WITH V-6 ENGINEAFTER PURCHSING IT NEW. . IT NOW HAS 291,000 MILES ON THE ENGINE AND USES NO OIL BETWEEN 4,000 MILE CHANGES. WHY WOULD YOU USE ANYTHING ELSE !

Lifelong Valvoline User - Had to Swith Brands for 1 Vehicle.
3 August 2019

I am a lifetime Valvoline user because Valvoline always protected my engines. The only thing that I am disappointed about is that my 2015 Jeep Renegade users manual has specifications listed such that I cannot find those specifications listed on the paper for Valvoline Full Synthetic. Jeep recommends Pennzoil Gold or Premium, Shell and Mopar. I would stay with Valvoline full synthetic for that vehicle, if Valvoline would confirm with me which oil of theirs meets the requirements listed by Jeep Mopar.

SYNTHETIC BLEND - NOT CONVENTIONAL
18 December 2019

Why is Valvoline attempting to market Synthetic Blend oil as Conventional oil ? Most would not know the difference , but Valvoline apparently hopes no one notices or asks what the difference is . Notice Valvoline is not 'up-front' with an explanation (makes you wonder why not) . Educate yourselves of the ramifications of using one against the other . There IS a significant difference . Bad decision Valvoline .

The only THICKER oil left on the market
4 June 2023

All oils today are as thin as water because of the EPA !!! Daily Driver oil still has some thick durability that is needed to actually lubricate engines made during/before GF5 days. Shall we sacrifice proper lube of our engine parts for the EPA wanting less emissions? If they want to pay for us when we need new engines installed maybe!!!

The owner's manual for my car states that the oil must be 5W-30, be API certified, and meet the Chrysler MS-6395 specification. Valvoline Conventional meets all of those requirements. My owner's manual also says to change the oil every 6 months/6,000 miles for normal conditions and every 3 months/3,000 miles for severe conditions. According the the book, I drive in severe conditions so I change my oil every 3,000 miles. I'm also pretty hard on my car. My owners manual says synthetic oil may be used as long as the same requirements are followed. I replaced my timing belt, valve cover gasket, and other stuff at 100,000 miles. I expected a conventional oil to leave some yellow staining/varnish. Another thing to note is that I bought my car used with 43,000 miles 7 years ago. I've got 136,060 currently and the check engine light has never illuminated. The engine in my car sounds just as quiet now as it did when I first got it.

[Rewarded Review] I bought conventional, not synthetic blend, +won't
3 May 2021

I bought the last of the Conventional 5W-20, not "Synthetic". It is getting harder to find Conventional oil, so I guess they are phasing it out. I have always used Valvoline Conventional and get 300K miles out of my cars. After 30 years, I guess I will have to buy a different brand of conventional. Older Jeeps manuals say "Conventional Oil and Fluids Only". The pic here shows Synth Blend, but I bought Conventional(I checked the bottle after almost having a heart attack, as I already put it in the car). Must be the same SKU numbers. Great Oil if you can find it still.

[Rewarded Review] Oil you can trust in you engine
13 November 2024

I have been using Valvloline white bottle for most my life as my Father always used it. It is getting harder to find as most of the offerings are Full Synthetic. I also use the Advance Full Synthetic engine oils and the gear oils.
