This used to be a great bargain at $39.95, now at $64.95 no cheaper than anyone else, now not worth the special trip.
I bought it for kia cerato 2015. Was using other brand 5w40 oil before I changed it with valvoline 5w30. Car runs smooth now and fuel efficiency has gone up as well. Happy with the purchase. Also , price match with other retailer on products make supercheap a competitive retailer.
Price comparison at auto stores is $79 and this oil competes with the leading makes for most modern engine specifications. Mine is a 2020 Euro make Turbo Ford and the oil spec is demanding. Syntech 5W30 Dexos Gen 2 meets and exceeds, and I never thought Iād buy my high end motor oil from Bunnings at a bargain margin. BZ Bunnings marketing gurus.
Excellent value bought on discount, this oil definitely worth the price! Softens engine sound and engine seems to rev more freely. Change every 5000km. Easy pour spout and good 5 L size. Just need an oil service sticker reminder.

Recently I have converted to using DX1 in my 2011 Series 2 SV6 Commodore. With most oils you don't really feel or see the difference it makes, with the DX1 it stays clean up to and over 10,000 KM changes. When you do an oil change with the DX1, the engine feels like it runs smoother and more free.When draining the old oil, which was DX1 it was still relatively clean with no sign of breaking down.I would highly recommend this oil to anyone running new Commodore engines, great product at a cracker price!
