Van Holten Pickle Sour

I like my pickles crunch and these aren’t very crunchy, so that’s the cause for my four stars. However the taste of this pickle is awesome. My kids love how sour it is. Sourness is a fav amongst pickles in our household. So here they are snacking on these GINORMOUS pickles. Yes, you heard me. They are just absolutely huge. Tart and tangy, that’s right.

Omg if your a pickle lover you need this in your life!! I’m that person when you go McDonald’s I get everyone’s pickles!! I got a pack of four and these are huuuuugeeeee!!! I was actually kinda shocked how large they are, we don’t really have stuff like this in the UK! This hot pickle made a good snack! I didn't eat lunch and wanted to snack on something before dinner . This did the trick! It kinda filled me up because it's pretty big. I wanted to try that thing where people put Kool Aid on the pickle. I don't normally carry Kool aid so I ate the pickle with some sour cherry gummies . I loved the sweet, savory and spicy taste!

Amazing

Holy cow I love these. Any flavor any time of day . The only thing better than the taste is the absolute bowel cleanse I get after eating one of these that is if I eat only one. I mean it's like a countdown as soon as I finish eating one I hear 10, 9 ,8 and I run to the bathroom and strap myself in and prepare to blast off....

Delicious

It was delicious. Best pickle ever. It was like salt and vinegar chips but without the carbs. Extra crunchy extra juicy . So good. I could eat these every day

Little salty.. but woth the buy

Never thought I'd post a review on a pickle but here we go 😆 lol... I love these pickles, I swear they can cure a hangover, hence why they are always in the liquor section of my local grocery store haha. They are super salty, which isn't my favorite, and I wish they had some more garlicy or onion taste to it but it's fine how it is. Just plain vinegar solution ! If ur a pickle fan its for you.

Not the same ingredients

I have been eating this brand of pickles since I was a little girl and I know for a fact that the ingredients has been changed! Maybe to save money however the quality is NOT the same! They taste rushed especially the hot ones. Most of the time the hot pickles aren’t even hot anymore just sour like. Anyways I wish they’d go back to the old recipe!!

Outstanding product for pickle lovers of all ages.

The best dill pickle I've tasted in years. Gifted to me by my grandson who became a pickle fan as a toddler. Brought back memories of a small country store from my childhood with a pickle barrel full of delicious cold briney pickles. Cannot be improved upon..the absolute best.

Sour!

The best sour pickle I can find so far. I am searching for sourer, price has doubled since I first found van HortonLike everything. Miss mom pop store that sold really sour pickles in a wooden barrel but they are gone!Plus they were more then double in size. VH size is not really large,even jumbo is not really jumbo.Still looking!!!!!!!!!!!

a very bad pickle

These pickles are not good. The dill flavoring is very overpowering tastes artificial and the pickle juice, tastes, very funky, like somebody’s unwashed bottom. The pickle could definitely be crisper but the aftertaste is not bad. The pickle isn’t overly salty, but it’s not very flavorful either.
