Vango 350XL Alloy 3 Person 3 Season Tent - Cactus

I haven’t camped in it yet, so can’t vouch for its performance in bad weather, but it is well designed and was a cinch to put up. The inner tent and built-in groundsheet clip onto the flysheet, so that once the latter is up the work is pretty much done - it’s both ingenious and effective, and saves a lot of pegging down.

The outer tent is as good as its predecessor but the extra space (xl) isn't as useful as we expected. The inner tent is poor comparatively as the zipper is flimsy. There is only one zipper meaning you can only open the door from the bottom. Not particularly impressed with vango for this one.

Used it in fairly strong breezes gusting 30mph and rain with no difficulties. The big porch area is superb

Well, on paper, and looking online, it seemed suitable for my needs and I saw lots of nice videos about it, but in practice it has a major design flaw, and that is, in wet (or even dewy) conditions when either door is opened water just pours into the tunnel section and into the front compartment.Simply fixed by removing one side door and instead fitting a simple double zipped (each side) front door that can be lifted or rolled up and over or even propped open on two poles, like many other tents have. Good design costs nothing.Build quality was OK at the price point.

Awesome Tent

Light, easy to set up and survived a 4 day trip with super heavy showers with not even a drop of a leak. Although of course, technically a 4 man, Perfect for 2.

Good size and value for money

Great tent, super-easy to set up and good value for money. I use it for motorcycle touring. Not the lightest tent but lots of space in the porch for bike gear. Some people like the Coleman, I prefer the Vango.

Good tent for price.

My 18yr old daughter took the tent to the Suffolk show and stayed a couple of nights. It was windy and there was rain but the tent stayed up and waterproof. Apparently it took my daughter and husband nearly an hour to put it up in the wind with no instructions. In the garden it took me 12minutes! Well what can I say?

Great Tent

Super spacious tent for a couple and ideal for weekend camping or longer. Really easy to put up. Only problem we had was poles were quite hard to fit into pins. Hoping canvas will loosen up in time. Can fit 2 chairs easily in porch and loads of room there for all your supplies. Not a light tent. You would use it for car camping rather than back packing. Overall excellent value.

Not happy, poor tent

Condensation builds up no matter what you do, tent gets very wet then because of it. Also a cold tent even with air vents closed, zip of cheap quality. Just a badly made tent

Vango Beta 350XL

Excellent weekend base camp tent for three season use. Too heavy for hiking, great for base camp use. Will fit two folding chairs, small table and cooking equipment with plenty of room in the bedroom for rucksacks / luggage.
