If you are clumsy like me or have little people constantly dropping and spilling things you need this magic potion in your life! My little one spilled a whole mug of tea on our lovely white carpet.. i almost cried! But decided to put this spray to the test. Did exactly as stated on the bottle - pat down to absorb excess i used a flannel, then spray generously directly on to stain let it sit for up to 15 minutes ( i waited about 20 minutes) used the same flannel to wipe away any excess even though most of it had already disappeared and just like magic the stain was also completely gone - vanished!! i am so impressed i have recommended to everyone i know, cant keep a secret like this hahaha!

I have a dog and a 3yr old so my living room rug is a poor battered food and mess magnet for both of them. I've had a few recent spills and some older more ingrained stains I've used this on and it's worked really to lift them. The new spills (milk and squash mostly) came straight out but I did have an old patch of grass stain from the dog having a hyper zoom moment running in and out the house and bringing half the garden with her. That included running across and rolling over the rug. I can finally say the horrid off colours have lifted off using this where other brands have failed, my rug is now cleaner than it has been for a long time and for this brief moment smells nice again. Definitely good stuff.

This carpet sprays fantastic. It works really well on stubborn stains, simply spray on and leave for a few minutes before wiping off. Amazing results every time. My springer spaniel has a habit of the odd bit of sickness first thing on the lounge carpet, a quick spray of this and it soon goes. It smells good too

Really impressed with this Vanish carpet cleaner. It’s quick acting and requires only 30 seconds to be left on before it works. We used it on a variety of tough stains on our carpet (although it also works on sofas and any upholstery), including food, drink, even baby sick! The spray is easy to work and comes out effectively with control. We haven’t had the need to try it on a red wine stain yet but the pack even claims to be able to remove those so we’ll definitely be continuing to use. I’d happily recommend to others and have been impressed with the results and the ease of use.

I feel like i'm scrubbing mud, milk, sick or some other dirt out of various patches at least once a week. This Vanish Gold spray comes out of the bottle satisfyingly frothy, with a thick foam that's easy to direct onto your stain. Leave it on for up to 5 mins, and then blot off with a cloth, and the stain is gone! It worked well on almost all the stains I tried it on, but to be fair, some of the older stains had been there for a while and would probably need earlier or repeat treatment. The biggest bonus was the lovely scent - it smells amazing! Used the Vanish Gold carpet spray a few times, first impression it has a good smell not overpowering or chemical like some cleaning sprays. A good couple of sprays onto the stains did the job for small stains. Tried it on my Light coloured carpet where I had spilt coffee, it faded the stain but didn't bring it out completely, so will have another couple of tries. Good sized bottle and will last a while. All in all I would recommend for small stains but not for stubborn stains that are darker in colour.
I clean carpets and rugs professionally and tried this product on dirty rug tassels. The results were very satisfactory. Firstly I made the tassels wet with just clean water and left it for an hour. Then I sprayed the tassels with this product giving them plenty of foam and left it for half an hour. Then I use a small brush to gently clean the tassels. Worked a treat and I'm very impressed as I don't usually use household products on carpets.
This carpet and upholstery stain remover really works. It works in just 30 secs. Just remove excess dirt apply the spray (don’t leave it on for any more than 5 mins) then blot the stain and tell remove excess product with a clean cloth. It neutralises odours and is colour safe. It can be used on different fabrics and carpet colour. It removes things like red wine and pet urine.
I have tried the Vanish gold carpet spray on stains from food on my carpet and gave me good results. Some stains are hard to come off, so some extra elbow grease is needed along with this spray. Very few stains have overpowered this spray and won the battle. But with most of them, the spray is good remover. I would suggest using the spray immediately after the stain appears to get good results
I’ve used various Vanish products in the past but always found the carpet stain removers a little disappointing. This version, however, left me very impressed. It was simple to use and left my carpet clean. I also tried it on a chair to remove stubborn stains. Even though it didn’t remove the stains completely, it certainly improved them. A great product!
