I absolutely LOVE them! The low cut was a very bold and beautiful decision and they are so versatile aswell! I really hope Vans makes these shoes in more colors cause I will definitely buy them! I originally saw them in navy blue and burgundy but sadly they were discontinued by the time Christmas came around so I got them in black (The only one still available on my favorites list). I really hope this design lives on because I really like low cut shoes and this gives me the option to wear the sk8 model. I honestly just love these ones, good job Vans! :)

These shoes would have been perfect if the left shoe didn't have one defect. The stitching on top of the shoe doesn't line up the shape of the shoe. Sounds petty, but I expect good quality with Van's shoes. I would have exchanged them for the same style but the process seems more complicated than just getting over it and hoping it isn't too noticeable.Other than that I love them. I have wider feet and they fit nicely. They're comfortable and stylish.

My black on black Sk8 Lows are my favorite shoes, but they have Pop Cush insoles in them. I expected these to be the same, but no Cush insoles. Kind of a bummer. Love the color, but not nearly as comfortable as my many other pairs of Vans. Would be 5 out of 5 with the proper insoles.
Obsessed with my Vans! I really like the low cut ones for some reason they are comfy to wear for work which requires me to be on my feet and walking for hours. I got the brown color which was actually really cute- kinda mushroom color or like a grey-brown. They fit true to size and width
Vans are primo. That waffle sole, it’s just feels like home on the bicycle peddles. Have got bung ankles and toes and the give / support balance is just primo. Thanks.
I've always loved the sk8 hi but i can't wear them due to a previous ankle surgery that makes the high top really uncomfortable. However when I found these I was seriously in aw. I love them so much!!! I only wish they had more colors but I'll take what I can get. They're also SO comfortable. I've been wearing vans since middle school and now that I've found these, I doubt I'll stop anytime soon. Please never discontinue!!
The shoe itself looks clean. It has always been a trend to wear the classic black & whites, but this needs something new. This would look even more raw / cool if they had multiple colors such as Blue/White similar colors to the AJ1 Obsidian's. I could even see these shoes outselling Nike left n right, winning by a landslide!!! OK maybe not, but at least this would look clean! :/
Classic sneaks. Super comfy. I bought the AVE SK8 Low about ten years ago and these are very similar. I swapped the laces for some that better suited the shoe and I found just a single pair of laces inside the box (usually you get two with the Pro skate shoes.) So I give a 4 stars rating.If Vans decide to throw in an extra pair of the classic Vans laces then they get a 5. I am super happy with what I was sent and I will wear them until they fall apart. ;)
