Bungee Cord is such a great colour! Its a muted brown so from a glance it gives the classic black and white checkerboard vibe but is a bit less in your face. It's a great neutral shoe. Great as a mum, as I can put them on and take them off hands free :)

Love love love these! Same checkered design and fit as when I was a teen. I listened to the reviews and ended up buying half a size down thinking they were running large, but don't do it! Order your true size, these run narrow and tight on your foot. I think there's another re-issue version that might run bigger but these classic ones do not. I need to exchange these for my true size now to give me more room! For the price, it's still worth the effort to get the right fit.

These shoes I received for Christmas as a present and have worn them ever since. I wear them religiously everyday they are easily accessible cause you can just slide them on, they are easy to style with any outfit, I wear them with socks and with no socks. These shoes don't slide on and off which I was surprised at as well which means that they fit right. Me and my friends all got the same shoes for Christmas so we matched. Surprisingly I didn't get any cuts on the back of my ankles which I usually do get when I buy new shoes and they rub. However, I don't know whether I received a faulty pair as the cream on the shoes started to go grey and the black started to fade, all my friends haven't had the same problem. Just this month realised that I had a hole in the front of the shoe, right at the front where my toes rest. It wouldn't be so bad if the hole was on the side however because it is on the top of the shoe it is easy to see. I have had to go out and buy another pair as I was unable to sew it due to the hole getting progressively larger as because they are my favourite shoes I keep wearing them everyday despite the hole. But I have to say they are a really good investment.

I purchased these with some level of hesitation only because I've ordered Vans slip ons in the past (from other websites) and they end up being tight (without socks). I don't know if Vans uses a different factory or that they just make some smaller than others but I've always been the size 6 (4.5 mens). This pair that I got from Prism fit perfectly for my feet (I have a wide front, narrow heel) without socks and without being too loose. Haven't had any foot pain or blisters. I have had zero break in period on these shoes and I've worn them every day since I got them. The color being the olive green is neutral enough to wear with just about everything I own in my closet.I've had the best customer service from Prism so far so I'm really happy with my purchase.
When I went to the store to purchase these checkered vans for my birthday the lady who worked at nordstom was so helpful she knew exactly what she was doing and was patient as I still hadn't decided if I wanted the checkered ones or the plain white ones. She also helped me find the perfect size. The shoes are also great. Great quality! I have had mine for quite a while now and they are still in great condition. I love them! What was also great is that usually when I get my vans from the vans store I don't get fit properly and they end up stretching out overtime and no longer fit correctly. It has been almost 6 months since I bought these and they still fit perfectly. I regret not catching the employee who helped me name. Additionally, she was super helpful when it ... Additionally, she was super helpful when it came to purchasing the shoes, as I wished to use a giftcard for some of the purchase and then pay the rest with credit card. I later saw that same employee in the food court of the mall I was shopping at on her break and she waved at me. Super friendly! I honestly really recommend purchasing from Nordstrom they provide great service in addition to great products like my slip on checkered vans.
I bought the checkerboard marshmallow on sale, and they are perfect. I did not read the reviews, which I’m glad because apparently, ppl are sizing down. But I found these ran TTS for me. I’m a true size 5 womens or kids size 3, and very rarely have to size up in any shoe besides in mules sometimes. My foot width is normal to narrow I’d say. These fit great and are comfortable right out the box for me. I don’t own any Vans. But when I saw this neutral color way, I had to get it. So cute and goes with everything. Highly recommend!
Love checkered slip-on Vans and have for years. The only thing I hate is breaking them in. They are rough to break in on the heel. But once they are past that point, they are super comfortable. Always just order in your regular size and it will end up perfect. I ordered these in both the thyme green/white and bronze/white and got them on sale (woo hoo)! Purchased on here after trying to purchase on the Vans site - which had no sales going on, didn't have much stock/variety and they randomly cancelled my order two days later with no apology or compensation, they just didn't "realize" they were sold out. So luckily I found what I was looking for here. Back to the colors...the thyme green I would say is a dark grayish green, but it's a cool color. It looked pretty ... So luckily I found what I was looking for here. Back to the colors...the thyme green I would say is a dark grayish green, but it's a cool color. It looked pretty close to the photo. The bronze however looked more of a neutral-tan/ orangey/light brown color in the photo, which was what I was hoping for, but it is actually a dark gold with sparkles, so that surprised me. I never go by the names because Vans can call it whatever they want and it doesn't always make sense to me, but I'd say the photo was definitely a little off and I would have preferred something with no sparkle. However, I didn't want to go through sending it back and gold is still kind of a neutral that I'm sure I'll wear. It just looks dark brown from far away and you have to look close or hit the right lighting for the sparkle. Overall I know I'll be happy once I break them in. Would rather purchase from here from now on than Vans.
I've been wearing Vans for 40 years now, and I rarely wear anything else. I've knocked a star off because the sizing has been a bit hit or miss recently, I've been a UK 10 for 30-odd years and usually don't even need to try them on when I buy in-store, but these shoes are particularly tight, I know they will 'give' a bit with use, but breaking them in is quite uncomfortable. This isn't the only instance I've had, a pair of MTE boots purchased a couple of years ago had to be returned and a larger size ordered due to a very narrow toe box. I'll repeat, I rarely wear anything else, but a bit of consistency in sizing would be appreciated.
I spend a lot of money on FM to be getting used shoes!!! I just received my order of pink vans just to notices they don’t have the vans tag attached and they are dirty like they have been used. I don’t know if it was a display model but both shoes are filthy!! Spent $65 bucks for some used vans!
Perfect! Exactly what she wanted! Already had a pair but I went to clean them and all the red bled out. Cold water, baking soda, dish soap (beware) so I was just replacing a pair she already had. Great price, quick shipping, A1 Service all around 👏👏👏✌️
