I purchased these to use as a kind of do all shoe. I have a pair of Vans Ultraweld that I use for casual wear and also for playing golf in. I saw these in the same vein but also as a shoe that I can wear to work out in. I do studio workouts that involve a lot of lateral jumps, weighted and body weight exercises and either rowing or bike. The shoe is light, well cushioned and give’s enough stability for these workouts. And it’s a good looking shoe.

I love the style and comfort of these vans. I just spent 16 hours in them including going to a Saints game and my feet were happy the whole time. They fit me true to size. Can't beat the price as I compared them to purchasing on Amazon and paid significantly less on Backcountry. Thanks, Mark

I never thought I’d own a pair of Vans. They were recommended to me to help with support with my foot and my peroneal tendinitis.Definitely took some time breaking in and getting used to as the heal of the shoe hugs around your Achilles more than others. However, after the break in period I notice a huge difference with how my feet feel after walking around in them for 12+ hours compared to my most recent sneaker I have purchased.

With out a doubt the most comfortable pairs of vans I own. I own three pairs of these and they all get regular use. Whether it be on my feet all day for my job, downtime over the park with the fam or just out for a walk, these have seen me right for as long as ive had them. Theres slight question over durability as, reading the other reviews and from personal experience, there seems to be a bit of weakness around laces and toe but I wear them until they fall my feet so not an issue. Would highly recommend to anyone and quickly become my go to sneak.
Love this shoe. This is a cute design that I might not have chosen if it wasn't on super sale when I got them (around $30 in December) but I do like it. The shoes are super comfortable. This is the third pair of Ultraranges I've gotten for myself. My husband and son have/have had multiple pairs as well.
I've always worn the original vans which I love, but I changed job roles which involves me being on my feet all day so I heard about these ultrarange exo shoes! Good for the first few days until the mesh on the side of the shoe started to tear away and the vans label at the back on the heel started to come apart! I've had these shoes no longer than 2weeks, unfortunately really upset with them! Where your heel sits in the shoe is also giving way, very uncomfortable!
These vans are amazingly comfortable! I’m used to wearing the old school slip on so when putting these on it’s like walking on a cloud. I would say they run a little on the tight side. My only complaint was the shoes upon arrival appear to have already been worn. Other than that they shipped fast. And nice shoes!
I love Vans, but classic slides are not ideal for exercise. I like the idea of a cool looking athletic shoe. These arrived quickly and were super comfy. I didn't wear them around the house or out and about, but only for a daily four mile walk. Nothing glowing to report- functional, comfortable, stylish. However, after just a few weeks, the material on the inner and outer toe box began to stretch/tear. Those folks who are avid Vans wearers (and possibly skaters too), will recognize this particular location as the olie/nolie wear and tear spot. However, I haven't skated in years, and coming in at 90 bucks, I was expecting a higher quality, hip old lady walking shoe. I will note, the material where the tear occurred is thiner and "breathable", making it comfortable, but I suspect weak and susceptible to this kind of damage (I will also note that I do not wear a wide shoe size, but did find these a bit narrow near the toe box). Again- cool shoe. Comfy.
I've been a fan since I skateboarded as a young teenager. I recently saw someone wearing these while out playing disc golf. This may or may not have been their intended purpose, but I've gotta say they are perfect for it. They solve so many of the problems that trail running shoes and hiking shoes have. water resistant, good traction, and reinforced toe box for when your foot drags on the tee.
Shoes kinda rubbed on my back heel for the first couple weeks. I recommend using slightly longer socks maybe?Cool to find a shoe that's not made from any leather and has some arch support though. They do look good on.
